It looks like the Tangled pin is sold out online. Does anyone know if they hold any for the stores or only give them to the stoers if there are some leftover?

I'm trying to figure out if it's worth getting up early to drive to one of the few stores that sell poins to try to get one.

Thanks for your help!

not sure weather it is?? as it says "the product you have selected can not be perchased at this time" been trying since 5.00 has any one got the pin?????

Okay - to the facts!!!

The pin was raised for sale at 9.04 this morning UK time - there were "technical" issues with the web-site due to the "overwhelming" response from prospective buyers!

By 9.17 the pin was withdrawn from purchase BUT buyers may have been able to place more than 1 order between 9.04 & 9.17 - however Disney are contacting everyone by telephone who placed more than one order to explain & confirm with buyers that they WILL ONLY BE HONORED & CHARGED FOR ONE ORDER regardless due to the demand

The only way to get this pin from today will be in-store at the list of selected stores as shown on the UK website from opening time tomorrow

Payments will be confirmed from Monday onwards with deliveries from Thursday onwards - confirmed payment will mean confirmed order - only then should everyone commit to trades & sales on this forum - ignore those people who may have this pin up for trade on Pinpics, or at the very least confirm before trading that the pin is in-hand from Monday onwards

The whole selling of this pin has been disasterous!

Okay, how do I know this you ask - my brother works for Disney UK Stores on-line & I have just had a 30 minute conversation with him!

It'll be a long drive from MD - suggest you leave now LoL!!

I actually placed my order at 9.01 this morning. It seemed to go through fine and I have had 2 confirmation emails from them. I will be going to Liverpool tomorrow though just in case!

Confirmation e-mails mean nothing at the moment as orders were taken, e-mails were sent out & all payments are currently pending until they can sort this mess out! Just hold your breath & pray!

I hope they honour the orders in time order!!! And not some other way. We will see what happens. I have a feeling there are going to be a lot of very unhappy traders

Donna - no doubt there will be a few unhappy traders - from the feedback it will be at least Monday/Tuesday before orders are confirmed - what a bloody nightmare! Apparently extra hours are being worked by staff to "catch-up" over the weekend

This is most definitely another nail in the UKs pin trading coffin. I am so close to giving up

Hang on, does this mean they are only sending out 1 Tangled Pin even if you ordered 2?

Possibly - but please do not quote me! The general gist is that Disney will try to accommodate all orders - if that means one pin instead of two then prepare for it! That is why I said DO NOT agree trades/sales until payment is taken - ignore Pinpics, ignore eBay (they are on there already!!) & only commit once you have confirmation that your order has been accepted/mailed!

I have arranged a pin trade, but i said it wasn't gauranteed and that only when i had it in my hands would i let them kno. I mean they shouldnt be surprised at how many people wanted it as Tangled/ Rapunzel is a popular film/character

they seem to have problems with every release.im glad i stopped trying to be a uk completest.
its nice to see there stoppin people from ordering over and over.there seems to be a few people on ebay who always seem to have loads of the latest pins for sale even the online only ones, its not fair on the genuine collectors/traders

So, I attempted to order an extra 2 in order to help people in the US get them (Yes, I know, you're only supposed to order 2, and I'm very sorry for attempting to order more, please get any judgement upon me out of the way here, thanks ), but I've not promised a trade yet, I would even hint at what pins I wanted without having the pin in hand.

I got a phone call saying that 3 of my orders were going to be cancelled, but I would still get the one I ordered with a Vinylmation figure. Now, to me, an order would have been the 2 pins, (2 orders to me means 4 pins), but that I would get a refund for 2 orders :S Somewhere, I think a small mistake was made in that sentence. So I don't know whether I'm getting 1 or 2 pins. Since in the call, the woman said each customer could have 2 pins, then each of us should get 2 pins, instead of Disney allowing people to order 2 and then telling them they're only allowed 1. Fiona also ordered some for herself, so hopefully they don't reject hers based on the surname, even though it's a different customer :S

It's sods law that the one time I try and help US traders, it goes wrong and makes me look bad. Don't think I'll be trying to help again.

Problem with this release was unexcuseable - the demand was great & the pin sold out in 10 minutes!

There are already 2 sellers on eBay with this pin to sell - okay only 1 off at present with current bids at £13 & £16 - this really pisses me off (sorry mods) as they have absolutely NO guarantee that they will receive the pin - poor bidders!

Work on one order = 2 pins! Forget the rest until they take payment then you'll get an exact figure/qty!

So if I didn't get a call I'm screwed? >< I possibly ended up with multiple orders too because the site kept telling me payment was denied and I got "thank you for your order" e-mails anyway - meanwhile another one has appeared a second time!

Is that me or do the problems get worse and worse since the software change? I can't remember any release that bad before they adapted to the US site.

I wish the Disney Store's would allow everyone, worldwide to order from ANY of their stores. I love the UK pins, and always have to beg (Only because I feel bad for asking, everyone I ask is super cool and nice), to get something.

Then when the U.S. has a pin coming out, the ones in the UK can't get it. (Although I am always willing to help them out, because I have had nothing but love from all of them!!)

It just seems crazy, is all I am saying.

I know, I know, im babbling.
