Yeah I'll also place my bet on Marvel tsums becoming core. They cater to a different demographic (not to say that tsum lovers dont like Marvel) so they probably aren't predicting that they'll sell that well with collectors. Then the solution would be to make them core and market them for non-collectors and Marvel fans. But if they do make them a monthly set I won't complain about sparing my wallet lmao.
 
Do you think this will be limited or restock? I would like to buy them later, in a few months, but I don't want to miss them... It's too early to buy ornaments for me.
 
I wish those were sold individually. I'd probably buy Daisy if you could just buy one, but I'm not willing to buy the whole set just for her.
 
Do you think we would ever get Pinocchio? We get Figaro and Jiminy but not him or Cleo... Is there any hope?
It's so expensive and hard to find, because it's already sold out in Japan... But it will be worse later, right?
Does anyone know if it still avaliable in Disneyland Paris??

The D23 Expo is only 3 days long so they can't release /that/ many daily exclusives. I'm in such a rush to post this that I can't really wrap my mind around how nervous this should make me!

I'm guessing they'll probably reveal the Marvel set and maybe something for Halloween? Ahhhh!

EDIT: I just read tsumtsumcentral's prediction which is that the 'unvelied' collections might just be future tsum tsum tuesday releases that you can buy early. And that the boxed set will be the only true 'exclusives'. I hope that's true!

EDIT 2: While I still have my post conveniently editable, check out this new tsum tsum puzzle!
I personally believe that future releases are hidden in graphics like these, and indeed I see Tangled, Lion King, and Tramp plus a lot more! So excited!!!

I read about it two minutes before I left home (and lost wifi...)...
But I agree, I think those three (one per day) sets will be future Tuesday sets, October, November and December movies or maybe two movies and one special set as Halloween as you say. Marvel will be there for sure.
Worst part is those limited and exclusive boxes... Last Japan exclusive and limited box had five unreleased characters... What I'm afraid is about those exlusived character from the box...

On the other hand, I see in that puzzle my impassive Tramp (he's in every picture, every ad, every puzzle since... always, but there's no word about the plush or its game character),Monster Inc. & University (they're also there in other puzzles), Aladdin, NBC and Peter Pan, Beauty and the Beast, Sleeping Beauty, Tangled and Lion King (among others we already have).
I just hope we don't get those 4 last movies one after the other because they are probably the most popular movies there are left and I prefer they alter them with less popular movies (there are more, much more movies less popular that those).

But, back to the D23... Worst scenario will be that each daily exclusive box won't be about that day's collection but an special one like Halloween set, or Birthday (like japanse last one) or something like that... Plus three movies (Marvel, Peter Pan and The good dinosaur, maybe).

Well, I just hope none exclusive characters for them... pleaseeeeeee...
I'm still debating about buying Pinnochio and Clarabelle, I can't deal with D23 exclusivities right now :-(
 
I don't normally collect Tsum Tsum's, but man I REALLY want some of the ones in that artwork. The Sleeping Beauty, Tangled, Aladdin, Lion King, and Peter Pan sets are just too cute!
 
I've got a few ideas about what the D23-exclusive boxes could be. I think overall the boxes will probably be like the Harajuku and Osaka commemorative boxes, very similar in design but with slight differences. 4 characters a box would be a safe bet I think. And since it it sounds like there will be 3, they could easily do 'core' characters with D23 decorations on them. Like have a Mickey/Minnie/Donald/Daisy box, a Pooh/Eeyore/Tigger/Piglet box, and a Goofy/Pluto/Chip/Dale box (for example). Or they could release characters like Clarabelle and Oswald who have only been released in Japan so far.

It would be a major help if we knew what they were before the day they release, to minimize the scramble to find sellers immediately. I know I personally don't have anyone I know who could pick things up for me, so I'll have to find a reseller at some point (and probably fast) if I see any tsums I like.

Disneyland Paris already got three tsum tsum from aladdin. I only bought these two; but there is abu too.

Could you tell me if they got Pinnochio in DLP?? I know they sold it but I'm not sure if they restock it... I'm desperate to get one :-(
 
Omg tangled, monsters inc, sleeping beauty, Pinocchio, beauty and the beast.... I'm so excited... I think I'm most excited for tangled though.

I'm wanting a princess and the frog set

Somthing to think about is this is the 5th anniversary of Tangled this year in November. Most likely we'll get a small set. Just like how the funko pops are coming out.
 
A Tangled set would be so fun!! Even if it was just Rapunzel, Flynn, Pascal, and Maximus that would probably satisfy people. Adding Mother Gothel would be a nice bonus though.

I've also started to wonder about the future of tsum plushes at Target, like how many sets they'll release. So far they've only released character sets that are have been sold out at the Disney Store for a long time (like Alice, Lady, Bambi) so I'm predicting that they'll probably keep doing that. Pinocchio is the last set that would fit but after that they could do anything.

About D23... It's dishearting... First I hate uncertainty. If we know what will be in those exclusived boxes it would be easy to assume I cannot have them :-D (or try to get them...), he'll have more time... but we don't know anything about them, nor even the number of tsum or the prizes or... I hate uncerrtainty... ... so I can not ask someone to get me one.
Second, I hate resellers. I don't want to need them in order to get what Disney thought I have to miss because I cannot cross the ocean to buy more tsums... :-(

I love the funny part of collecting... Even the stressful part of it... But sometimes I hate Disney :-D
 
My hope is that they'll release a larger Pinocchio set in the spring when its released on Diamond Edition bluray which means re-releasing characters that are already sold out. Stitch is one of the always available characters but even he was sold out before the Stitch set a few weeks ago and he got a large restock along with the rest of the characters (now he seems to be sold out again, lol BUT OMG THAT TOTE BAG IS BACK YOU GUYS. I have it, it's seriously adorable. Buy it while you can if you're interested!). Anyway, a re-release of Figaro, Jiminy Cricket, Pinocchio, Cleo, and a maybe a few other characters from the film is what I'm hoping for and why I won't buy Jiminy on eBay (him and Lady are the only two released in NA I'm still missing - I'm also holding out for an entire Lady and the Tramp set )

Now on to other business. WHERE CAN I FIND THAT TSUM TSUM PUZZLE? Er, and is it a puzzle as in a jigsaw puzzle? I MUST HAVE IT. I KEEP THROWING MY MONEY AT THE SCREEN AND NOTHING IS HAPPENING. AHHHHHHH.
 
Totally agree about the Pinocchio set! And I think that puzzle is being released in Japan, probably through the online Disney Store if I had to guess.

And if they do a Lady and the Tramp set I hope they do Tramp, Jock, and Trusty at the very least! Sometimes the character choices seem really random so you never know...
