If you havent seen these, these are a couple from 1956. Pretty cool too.

Wow it was so different back then. It's amazing how far Disneyland has come. Too bad the great Walt Disney never got to see it. I have seen pictures of my mom going in 1967

A friend of my dads said when he went there as a kind he saw Walt on the Mark Twain. Pretty awesome.

Yeah that's cool. My mom doesn't remember to much from that trip because she was little but my aunts said he would be out there greeting everybody...

I love these old videos. I like Disneyland the way it was. It looks so serene.

I love these films. I remember a lot of Disneyland being that way (although not *that* far back, from the first one), it makes me teary-eyed watching! I'll have to show it to my husband, I think he said the first time he went to Disneyland with his family (he was born and raised in Ohio) was when he was 16 or 17, so that would've been not long after the first video, I'm sure he'll love watching it!

Thanks so much to NChouser and Spire for these videos! They are wonderful!! I've never been to Disneyland, but I have been to WDW several times. Twice in the late 70's, once in the mid 80's and probably the last time in 2003. I loved it back in the earlier days when it was so much simpler. :)
