I will be going to Disneyland around April. Last time I was there was about 4 years ago.

If you have any Pin Board Locations or any Trading Locations

please let me know.

I can't wait to go, it will be my 1st time trading pins! I had my sister trade pins in the past,

now it's my turn!

The last time I was there weren't many Cast Members trading pins so any good location to trade pins with Cast Members would be really helpful like Boards Books any secret locations.

All the Disney hotels have pin boards.Ask around all the shops they have boards too.Westword ho has a big pin board.

List of pin boards (That I know of)
Disneyland:
Main street -Emporium
Tomorrowland - Little Green Men and Star Traders(cash register next to Capt Eo exit)
Frontierland - Westward Ho
Adventureland - Indiana jones store
New Orleans Square - Pin store (Name not coming to me right now)

Ca. Adventure:
Buena Vista Street - Right side Main pin store (fruit stand on right corner as you walk in the gate, first store behind it)
Condor Flats - Fly n Buy
Hollywood area - Tower of Terror exit store
Embarcadero store across from little mermaid ride

I am not sure if the store on paradise pier has one or not. I hope this list helps. Have a great trip. If you are traveling the end of April be on the lookout for info about Docfish's trading event on the 26th i believe.
Also, traders set up at the outer tables of Rancho Del Zocalo next to Big Thunder.

Some more I can think of:

-World of Disney (in downtown disney), most all of the cash registers have a character plush wearing a lanyard, also at all the entrances there is usually a CM greeter that has a plush with a lanyard as well

California Adventure:
-The shop on Paradise pier, I can't remember the name but past all the carnival games, at the register on the far left they have a board
-The store at Grizzly River Rapids has a board I believe
-Clarabelles ice cream on Buena Vista street has a board behind the counter

Disneyland:
-The shop inside the New Fantasy Faire area right by the tunnel to Rancho De Zocalo has a princess book with pins in it
-Back in Poohs Corner they have a board in the shop behind the register that's closest to the treats shop
-In Big Thunder Ranch they have been having a pin wheel out there lately (in addition to the 1 in Westward Ho)

Let me add a few more locations for you to consider.

Disneyland Hotel
--- Front desk
--- Concierge desk
--- Gift shop
--- parking valet / greeter

Grand Californian
--- gift shop
--- front desk clerks
--- bell hop
--- concierge / guest services

Disneyland
--- guest services desk / town hall
--- gift shop (far right side when exiting)

Tram drop off/bus stop
--- guest services / info stand typically has pins
--- pin shop in Downtown Disney near monorail station.

Hotels
--- when staffed the Disney desks tend to have pins

You can find cast members to trade with, but you have to actively look for the lanyards. I have had good luck with the cast members working the parade routes / check points. Another good location are the stores as the cast members at the door typically have the hip lanyard. You can usually count on the management staff to have a lanyard available but typically in a pocket. I had good luck with that at the performance point for the Phineas and Ferb show over in CA. The info boards are also good points to look for pins.

Good luck & happy hunting.

Thanks for all the help! If anybody has more or wants to share pictures of the boards that would be great!

Also, can we make this thread sticky?

I was told by a cast member that there is a stand when walking to the toy story parking lot that has pins, can anyone confirm? My wife and I were walking all around saturday afternoon trying to find it, and when we asked other cast members on the route, none seemed to know about it.

we saw it on saturday around 1pm ... it was located at the entrance to the tram loading area.

I'd like to add to this! In addition to the regular pin board in the emporium at Disneyland, if you head to the other end of the store and go into the jewelry shop they also have a box with a lid on it and it has a ton of pins for trade in it!

Oooh a genuine treasure chest. I'll have to remember that my next trip down.

Yes! Indeed it is! Even one of the cast members let me know that not a lot of people knew about this box with trading pins because its closed with a lid and all. We found quite a couple of good pins but unfortunately had ran out of pins to trade.

Disneyland staff has been asking the traders to move from Rancho De Zocalo lately so we have been going over to Aladdin's Oasis in Adventureland.
