Exactly. Plus as @hopemax and I mentioned in other forums, we haven't even hit the peak of the virus in the US.

WDW, closed, too. If it hadn't, I'd be there right now. Had to reschedule my vacation.

Pretty sure it's remaining closed in April too. Universal Studios Hollywood and Orlando is closed until April 19th

Knott's Berry Farm is closed until mid-May.

Well, my cousin changed it to the end of May. We hope all will be well by then.

If the parks hadn't closed, I'd just be flying home today.

I'm so sorry. I would be meeting my Canadian BFF at Disneyland in a couple weeks, but no more. :( We have a family trip scheduled for September so here's hoping all is well by then.

Regardless of possibly this year, I am anticipating next year for WDW’s 50th...

WDW just announced they are furloughing 35000 employees starting a week from now. So I guess they won’t be opening any time soon.

Both DLR and WDW are taking resort reservations for stays beginning June 1st.

I don't think either of those will happen....

We are in a hold pattern for our trip at the end of June (WDW).

Unfortunately, I think that's probably not likely to happen. I heard that Universal (both Hollywood and Orlando) has extended their parks closures through at least 31 May. I can't see Disney, or any other parks, re-opening before then. I think it most likely that they'll all re-open at the same time, or within days of each other.

I'm in a similar situation. During my last trip, I took advantage of the 'future trip/bounce back' offer and booked three stays: July, late October, and December/January. At this point, I'm considering July a lost cause; many people I know believe that the country might 'peak' around that time in regards to COVID and we'll still be social distancing/under 'safer at home' rules. I'm just wondering if the October Halloween trip might be too optimistic at this point and I should consider myself extremely fortunate if things normalize in time for my Christmas/New Years trip in December.

We're in the same boat...but our trip is in the earlier part of June (June 10-19). I know everything is cancelled up until the first week of June at the moment, so there is still a (small) chance we'll get to go!

Our new reservations are for the end of August. *sigh* It seems to be my lot in life to go to Disney in August, and I can't stand heat! But if this date doesn't come off, we may have to cancel entirely.

BTW, WDW just opened Disney Springs, so there is hope. I would totally wear a face mask if that was the only way I could go.

I heard Universal wants to open in June so maybe WDW isn’t that far behind?

I've heard that Universal Orlando is aiming for a staggered opening. I think I remember reading somewhere that they're limiting it to team members on 1-2 June, invited guests and maybe a few passholders on 3-4, and if everything goes well, a full opening on the 5th.

I've not heard any word on when WDW might open beyond Disney Springs - or any of the California parks. I have a feeling the California theme parks, all of them, will be in the last phase of the reopening for the state.
