DisneyPinForum Changes - March 2024​

Hey all!

As I'm sure some of you may have noticed, there have been some changes/additions across DPF over the month of March — below is a summary of additions and changes for this past month:

Giveaways are Back!​

Giveaways are back at DPF! Occasionally, we will have forum-sponsored giveaways for items, gift cards, and pins! As we work with vendors in the future, we will also have vendor-sponsored giveaways.

• If you are a DPF member, and wish to run a giveaway for the community, please contact the moderators, and we can help you set up a giveaway for DPF members!

You can find any active giveaways at the top of the forum under the "Giveaways" tab:


From here, you can take a look at any currently active, and any previous giveaways.

Events Calendar​

We have added an Events Calendar to DPF!

We encourage you to add your local events to the DPF events calendar; Any members may post any events they know of, or their own events to this calendar.

Any events added to the calendar will create a corresponding thread in our Gatherings, Events & Meetups forum so that members can coordinate meetups, or share photos from the event!

Upcoming events will appear in the forum homepage sidebar:

Additional Forum Thread Prefixes​

To further streamline the forum experience, new prefixes have been created in most discussion forums, and work in the same way they do in the DPF Marketplace.

These prefixes serve as visual tags for the thread content within, and we encourage you to use them as much as possible, and provide feedback on any other prefixes we may need — the goal is to keep the forum as organized and as easy as possible for you to find relevant information.

We encourage members to utilize thread prefixes when creating threads to help other posters quickly find the content they're interested in!

The Admins & Moderators are hard at work tagging previous threads with prefixes to make your forum and pin research experience better.

**Please note that some prefixes are only available for use in specific forums.***

With prefixes, you can filter forums for threads with the particular content you're looking for — this option is available at the top of the forum before the thread listing:


Prefix filtering is also available at the main forum listing, separated by group type, allowing you to filter for specific thread prefixes spanning multiple forums.
