First of all, welcome aboard!

I've never once heard of anyone having a link for a doll until the morning of the release, UK or elsewhere. However, if you go on this thread on the release date chances are you will be able to get the link and Elsa just fine. Links are usually posted right at 12 AM or within just a few minutes later for both the UK and US. Sometimes people will also post the store item number, which works in the online search engine just as well.

yes I meant this in ''early link'' cz usually you can't find them with Search on website...hope someone will post link in this thread or order number.thanks you for such a worm answer ! hope I will get her. cz doll looks almost same as SQ LE ELSA and I want her so much. :S and...as I'm in Finland now UK website ships to Finland (I checked) and when I will get order confirmation email is there any possibility to cancel my order after this? cz I have chance to get her from USA too and ship to my friend. but I think it will be more hard to get from USA cz it sold outs more quickly

I believe in the UK you would be able to cancel your order over the phone as long as it hasn't shipped yet, but I'm not 100% sure how they process international shipping. I would call their customer service number and ask them about cancellations just to make sure before you order!
 
Man Disney really has given this community a lot of love/stress this year lol. The Frozen dolls are pretty much the perfect way to end the season, and I am REALLY having to force myself not to buy one. Even if Frozen isn't one of my favorite Disney films, I love the characters and am a huge sucker for their Frozen Fever designs.

But I am more interested in seeing what Disney decides to do next year. I don't think it will be nearly as crowded as this year's releases. We will probably get LE dolls for Alice Through the Looking Glass and Moana and we will probably get the next part of the designer fairytale collection, but who knows what we will get outside of those. Maybe we will finally get those Mulan and Pocahontas dolls? Pretty please Disney (not likely but still)??? The diamond edition line is supposed to end with Pinocchio as well, so maybe they will start re-releasing their movies again under a new name (Alice could always get a diamond edition where the new movie is coming out too).
 

I'm pretty sure once the movies are rereleased, then they will make new le dolls of past characters.

Being a long time Alice In Wonderland fan, I hope they make dolls for Through The Looking Glass. And I'm looking forward to seeing what else is released, even if I'm not buying. I just don't have the space. Aladdin was my first LE doll and he does take up room. More than I was expecting, it's a nice surprise.
 
I don't want to cancel my order after order. as I know sometimes they cancel orders ...so I don't want to be without her on NOV 5 and miss USA releases. so after email confirmation is it possible that I will not get her?
p.s. as I'm in Finland now on new year I'm going to my country so will I have any problems in Airport? to take her with box on a plane? do anybody have any experience ?

I really wish they would give some love to some of the other movies... the Platinum and Diamond line has the exact same movies. And it's pretty much guaranteed that any new line will be the same ones yet again (although they'll probably add Frozen to it). It would be nice it they would do a line with every movie. Even if they didn't all get the explosion of merch, they could at least have the same style of packaging so our shelves look nice! (was not pleased when they started doing the smaller case/oval covers halfway through the line).

But if they are going to do the same 13 movies all over again, they could do dolls of other characters from those movies... like Wendy, or the Evil Queen, or Anastasia and Drizella. (But they still need to do Pocahontas and Mulan, too)
 
Can you guys give me some advice, I have gotten all the designer dolls so far this year and plan on getting elsa and Hans. I then plan on trying for Frozen fever elsa and Anna the week after but I keep thinking should I get the designer Anna instead? As she is in her iconic winter outfit and would look nice displayed with designer Elsa? But I can't afford the designer Anna and the FF dolls:/
 

I'm wondering if they will make another LE Snow White next year if they decide to start a new line of re-releases. If they are, I doubt they would stray from tradition making Snow White the first in the lineup! That would be such an amazing doll for all of us who missed out on the 2009 Snow White.


Normally I would say that if you have a confirmation email with Elsa in the order, you are in the clear. But lately Europe has been experiencing problems with online orders-apparently stores have been "selling" more dolls than they actually had in stock and so some people's orders have been getting canceled in the last few releases. Since I don't know if any of those canceled orders received confirmation emails beforehand or not, I'm not sure if the email definitely means you got the doll. But if you don't get another email from Disney within the next day or so (they always email before canceling an order), then I think you'd be fine. And a blastoff (shipping) email typically follows the confirmation email within a few days, and that is definitely a guarantee you got what you ordered!

Alas I have zero experience with these dolls and customs, so I can't be much help on whether or not they would be allowed on planes. I would think they would be, but I imagine European or other international collectors would be better help answering that question.
 
thanks you !!!! <3 I asked already in fb groups and many collectors said that I can take her on plane. just with bag. so I don't think it will be a problem. its just a doll.why there should be any problem. :\
 
Unless the doll is physically in your hands, Disney can cancel the order at any time, even after saying it's been shipped. There have been reports of Disney sending out "your doll has shipped" and then the next day an email saying "your order was cancelled" and no doll shows up.

Make sure to get a hard sided carry-on bag (suitcase) to put the doll in so that if you put it in the overhead compartment bin, even if other items are thrown on top, it won't get damaged.
 
Well I got nothing for my birthday yesterday from anyone so I'm really hoping now the universe will at least be kind enough to let me get FF Elsa. ._. Please no scalpers at the mall, please no scalpers...

Also damn that Anna picture is beautiful. @_o
 
thanks you !!!! that happened to me about Cristof classic doll. he was shipped but tracking was not updated for days. I contacted DS and they told me that there was no doll in stock. I said how there was no doll in stock,when he was in stock whole day after my order.and magically he arrived next day. :| I will try to catch her same minute they will be up on website.
 
Ahhh I love her, so pretty! I think Elsa will be even more stunning! Well now I know I'll be in Germany when the dolls go up online, do they release in stores in Europe or only online? Because if they do come in stores I might try get up early and go in store then try later online.... I'd be in Munich specifically

Same here. But I think it should be at least better than the March release of 2nd Frozen set.
 
I hope you're right! But there's only 1000 of each in Europe and I don't trust those scalpers. Though I would say the frozen fever stuff definitely seems less popular. Most of the merchandise never actually sold out on the UK site which I expected to happen. Fingers crossed either way!
 
Has anybody else called their stores to see if they're getting the dolls? I just called mine and they still haven't heard anything about it yet, I'm sure they'll have them, but I just want to be sure.

I know my store announced today that the Designer Anna and Kristoff would be released as a first come first serve doll along with the Frozen Fever Anna and Elsa, so they are getting all three in, though I don't know how many that will be. I live in the US though, so I realize that Europe may have a different experience, just wanted to give the heads up! BTW: I did get the Elsa/Hans set today. Wasn't sure if I would originally, but I decided to go anyhow and buy them if my name was called. I didn't want to buy them online tonight, especially with all the recent horror stories of shipping and order cancellation this year. Was the very last name called! There were two more people, me and one other girl and one doll, was so relieved when my name was called! Some of my fellow collector friends were there also. They had all gotten their dolls by then and everyone was thrilled I had gotten the last one, even the employees, whom all pretty much know me by now. Elsa's hair is a bit out of place, there's a strand going in her eye, but other than that the set is perfect and I was so happy to get one that I hardly care at the moment!
