Wow, from those pictures the only areas SQ Elsa scores over FF Elsa for me is her skirt being slightly longer and having scattered rhinestones all the way down, and the beaded snowflakes being a bit cooler than the plastic flowers for hair decorations. Pretty much everything else I like FF more on.

I checked it out, those are great comparison pics! I actually like the waist area of SQ Elsa's dress better, it looks like there is stitching that makes it looks more like a bodice than FF Elsa's dress.

The only things that I think would make the FF Elsa perfect would be to giver her slightly darker makeup, and that's about it. Th only things I prefer about snow queen Elsa is mostly her bodice(I'm just crazy about those rectangular rhinestones!),her makeup, and that's it really.

FF Elsa's cape is much more elaborate than SQ Elsa's, They are both beautiful, but if I didn't own any Elsa's I have to say from those photos I would choose to buy FF Elsa.

Isn't the material on SQ Elsa's cape different?

The difference between the capes is that one is longer and has printed stuff on it. The reason why the difference is apartment it's because of all the empty space on SQ Elsa's cape. However, I think the embroidery on SQ Elsa's cape is nicer than FF Elsa, especially when you consider the massive lines on the sides. Of course, the best cape will forever be the harrods version.

I agree I love the harrods cape the best, but hate the face makeup on that one. I like the embroidery on the SQ Elsa but dislike the empty space. Frozen fever Elsa I like best because it has embroidery and printed designs and their is no empty space.

I was always upset at the differences between the first Anna and Elsa release, and the Harrods. The Harrods versions had the cape detailing that all the Snow Queen limited edition dolls should have. The doll certificate says that the dolls were "ensured to every detail was captured." I don't like that I had to pay four times the price for more movie accurate dolls.

The harrods set is basically the ultimate Elsa and Anna. I just find it disappointing that even the classic Elsa doll has more cape details than the le snow queen Elsa.

I love the designer Elsa cape more than LE SQ Elsas cape, much more detail, granted its printed and not embroidered but at least their is no empty space and the material used looks thinner and more like ice. I really like designer Elsa and FF Elsa. Both different but capture Elsas beauty, Deffo make up for the lacklustre Elsa from the March release

Regal Elsa is the worst. She's pretty, but tinsel and shine is tacky; and her outfit isn't recognizable.

Yeah I took a pass on that one, didn't she have shinny skin too? I want to get Kristoff from that release though.

She had both. kristoff looked good though. With regal Elsa, I was thinking that she would be perfect to customize into a "harrods" snow queen version. You would have to reroot her hair, then make her dress, then hire someone to embroider snowflakes to her cape. I don't think it's such a bad idea; fabric wouldn't cost much, and I'm sure custom embroidery won't be that bad.

I don't think I have looked at the harrods set. I'll have to check that out. I just know that with SQ Elsa they definitely did a good job making her look cold, and icy.

Yeah I'm sure that could be done, but if I'm gonna pay $120 for a doll she better be closer than that to what I want. FF Elsa is worth every penny and then some though.

It would be nice to have sq Elsa, but she doesn't interest me anymore since I have my FF Elsa.

^ This. SQ is lovely, to be sure, and if she was reasonable to pick up I would just for completeness and loving the snow queen dress, but she's completely out of reach and FF is so lovely, so it makes the 'I'll never have that' so much less painful.

The only doll I want now is another rerelease of Snow White.
