Elsa finally arrived today!! She is absolutely beautiful and most definitely worth the long wait! Now that I own her, I do not feel so concerned that I do not own SQ Elsa - I actually think FF Elsa is prettier!

So I received both my Dolls Anna Elsa late last night, UPS doesn't come to my house until late around 7pm.

Here are some of the differences between SQ Elsa and FF Elsa, at least between the dolls I own. I just though some would find it interesting.

Starting at the top with FF Elsa flower, I love they way it looks icy and how it is different in color from the other flowers in her hair. SQ has nothing at the top of her hair except on her braid she has snowflake crystals.
The ends of the braids are different, SQ has a blunt cut at the end of her braid while FF has a very beautiful curled end to her braid. Then of course there is the gold strands is FF Elsa hair while SQ has none. Their hair color is pretty much the same though, FF Elsa's hair does seem to be a bit lighter in color than SQ Elsa.

The makeup on the dolls are both very pretty, SQ has a very dark Purple eye shadow and Dark red lips, and darker blush, no freckles on SQ. FF Elsa has a bit lighter eyebrows, a light purple eye shadow and medium pink lips,a light blush and very faint freckles, my doll does not have the notorious forehead freckle that I have heard about, so my dolls freckles may be lighter overall than other dolls.

SQ has a icy blue/gray color to her skin, FF has a normal flesh skin tone.

The cut of the dresses are pretty much the same except SQ has long sleeves and her dress is much longer, it goes all the way to the bottom of the box. While FF you can actually see her shoes (which are just lovely) and FF has a gradient to her dress which makes it outshine SQ Elsa's IMO. SQ has a sateen type of dress while FF has a more textured sateen material. Then there is the way they have the different colored embroidered flowers on FF Elsa which add a very beautiful touch. SQ has no embroidery on her dress but she does have a lot of white square crystals and gems placed throughout until you get to about her thighs. Then the crystals become more spread out and stop at a bit past her knees. FF Elsa has numerous crystals in pinks and greens and blues, then there are the iridescent crystals that line Elsa's collar, SQ has blue crystals at her collar.

I'll get to the capes in a second post.

Great comparison, Thank You!

My FF Anna came today! I am over the moon with her perfection! She's not missing a single gem and her number is super low at 220. Her hair is adorable and I do see some gems on her sunflower clip. Her dress is incredible in its detail, I love it. I couldn't be happier! Anna and Elsa are definately a set, so I'm glad I got both.

Someone on facebook posted that they got the last Elsa 5000/5000! How cool!

I wonder if that would add more value to the doll. Oh well, that person is incredibly lucky to have that number! It would be awesome to have the #1 of 5000!

Yay, Anna is here! 188 of 5000. Don't see any missing crystals and her plastic is in good shape. Unsightly out of place paint splotch on her clock though. D:

As I expected when the initial tracking went wonky, though, the other box with Elsa arrived with a big gouge in it that of course is on the plastic side of the doll box.

I was pondering trying to trade her for another doll I missed, but the plastic has a scuff mark on it from the box and tissue paper being torn. :/ It's not over the doll, it's over the background, but people are pretty picky about the plastic so I probably wouldn't find anyone willing to trade for her unless they were a deboxer. Swapping plastic isn't an option either, my original Elsa has tiny little micro scratches on her plastic you can see when the light hits it just right. Argh! Wish they packed better and that the windows were more durable.

She's a gorgeous Elsa though, so I may just debox her and enjoy her. :dunno:

I'll post pictures when I'm not super tired lol. Couldn't sleep last night from anticipation. XD

Anna is so beautiful, I think she is my favorite, I mean they even gave her the clock, they could of just gave her the bracelet. All the embroidery on her dress and the tiny little yellow gems around the center of each sunflower. just WOW, she is by far the most beautiful doll I have ever owned!

So excited I've managed to set up payment plans for Frozen Fever Anna, teal Jasmine and have a Coronation Elsa to put a deposit on this week too! Gonna cost me an arm and a leg but I am over the moon

Oh I'm so sorry she got damaged. You can call Disney and let them know they might give a gift card or something because of the damage. I heard of some people doing that.
The damage doesn't sound that bad, so if you wait people might not care about a little damage. I wouldn't worry to much about Elsa and trying to trade her, her value will rise.
If it were my doll I would de-box and enjoy. Or you can find a trade with someone who also has a damaged box.

Hi Penguin I am not sure if my answer to your private message got Sent yesterday I can't Check the "Sent items" via phone. I just want to make sure that you don't think I am ignoring you

My FF Elsa arrived today (in beautiful condition too)!

There are truly no words to describe just how beautiful she is-it's true, pictures really can't do her justice and even those are stunning! There are some very small flaws; mine also has that infamous freckle at the top of her forehead and some hairs on one piece of her braid are just slightly askew, but even so quality-wise she is right up there with Blue Aurora as the best LE doll I own. I love that she has a fully embroidered dress, the most gorgeous cape I have ever seen on a doll, and even detailed shoes! And of course, Disney got her expression and facial details down just right. They even gave her a tinge of red on the nose to make her look like she has a cold! I think every LE doll that Disney makes going forward should have the quality of this one.

I am absolutely overjoyed to finally have an Elsa to display with Anna, and I hope everyone else waiting for their dolls receives them soon and is just as happy as I right now!

Hi! After getting my first LE Dolls, FF Anna and Elsa (They are AMAZING) and since I LOOOVE Kristoff so much, do you recommend to get Summer Kristoff? He's so cute! And the price is very low! I found someone here who will give him away for 150 euros! It's too much or a fair price? I searched online and couldn't find better! And I found Blue Aurora in my city for 150 euros (and the seller wants to hand deliver her!) and she seem in perfect condition! (I'll eventually check it once I encouter the seller)

Btw I'm totally waiting for a 17" Hans release, I need it in my life!

Kristoff may still be available on the DS.UK website. If not, it is still available for retail in various UK locations. You may also want to contact Harrods to see if they have that Blue Aurora still.

Have you guys ever wondered what a Hans 17" box would look like...All the other Villans boxes are darker and villainous looking, but Hans is sort of a wolf-in-sheeps-clothing kind of villain, so I'm just wondering how Disney would style his box and printing...light or dark...hmmm... Also, would he have a smile or a smirk or a leer on his handsome face??

I bought Kristoff in anticipation of FF Anna, as well, because I just knew that they would look great together. I can't speak for the price in euros, but I got it at $15 USD away from it's retail price. The prices of these dolls tends to raise just after large releases and around the holidays, so if the price is higher than the usual going rate, it might be best to wait a bit.

Thank you all! I can't find Kristoff available on any of the Disney Store sites though only Aladdin and Phillip

I really hope they will make him with this outfit:

Considering that the white one they already did it for the D23 Designer Set!

Anyway! I bought Aladdin at the italian online DS for 67 euros! It was 84 (Btw I really don't get why the 17" dolls are 84€ in Europe and 119$ in the US? It's a 26€ difference!) with a 20% off coupon! (It's funny because it said that it wouldn't work with limited edition items but it did!) I know he isn't huge as a value doll but I really like him and for that price I couldn't resist!

I just noticed something on my second Elsa besides the scuff on the window - Her left(my right) forearm is the opposite orientation of the other one's. The one I got first matches the promo photos and Anna's arms are the same way. Can it just be gently twirled around the right way? Or is the motion range limited on that and the arm would have to come off to go the 'right' way? (Though the 'backwards' arm looks better at the elbow, I'm guessing since Anna and the other Elsa both have them the other way and only one arm on this Elsa is that way, it's supposed to be the way 5 out of 6 arms are facing.)

Wait, which way is the forearm, the side that's flat, or the side with joint bump?i know that the side with the joint bump allows for more articulation if you debox le dolls.
