I have been considering it, but I am kind of the same mind set. I spent such a ridiculous amount of money on dolls last year, and I really don't want to do that again this year. Also, I simply don't have the space to continue growing my collection at this rate. Disney is releasing so many now, and it is overwhelming. I think the upcoming Minnie doll is very cute, but I have my D23 Expo Minnie, so I've been thinking that might be enough for me.
Don't really care for the Le Minnie doll either. Her color scheme is too dark, and she needs more contrast on her clothes. The only doll I'm waiting for is an Le Snow White. I already have all my money saved for her, now I just need to wait if they release her.

Personally, I do not like her 'hair', it's a bit strange to me...I love her rooted eyelashes, but the hair/ears has got to go. I'm sure there are plenty of collectors out there who probably love her hair, but I would have preferred Disney to use a nice felt-like material, something soft and matte looking.
Also, I cannot wait to see a possible new 17" Snow, a lovely Mia version of Alice and of course Emma's Belle!!!
I think it's weird that Minnie's hair is her ears. I think they could've given her regular plastic ears, and some sort of cute 50's-ish hairstyle; cute, curly, and short. Although I'm sure there's something inside her "hair ears" to give it that shape. Another thing they could've done is given her some lipstick, or at least outline her mouth in red to give it more contrast. Overall, it's cute, but not cute enough.

Hi! I don't know if you remember me but I was one of the few that started this collection with the Frozen Fever Dolls! Now it's a little bit biggerI'm so happy!
I currently have:
Frozen Fever Anna, Frozen Fever Elsa, Blue Aurora, Prince Phillip, Aladdin, Jafar, Jasmine, Ariel, Tiana, Live Action Cinderella and Sgt. Calhoun. I know it's still small but I'm in love with them =) now I'm trying to get Rapunzel and Merida! Can't wait
Btw yes, it's a bit disappointing to get this new Minnie, but she's cute so I'm okay with it! And plus it's a good sign that Disney will maybe think to make some new characters as LE dolls! My fear is that Minnie will probably not sell so good and Disney will drop the idea of making some other characters! (this time we need the help of the scalpers xD)
Minnie is alright, but there could be so many improvements, such as making her dress red with black spots, red shoes with black bows, fabric gloves(her hands look big enough for them), lipstick(her mouth feels like it's missing something), and lastly, she could use actual ears with a nice short hairstyle.

Yes! That would have been so beautiful! I feel like she's a "doll test" to see if people would buy her! She's too forgettable! They could have done so much better with her character! It's a shame.
It is a shame, but I kind of doubt the final doll will change much, if at all. Either way she'll sell, but I don't see her going for any high prices in the future. I'm still bummed that there hasn't been any special merch for Snow White.

Exactly! I'm still hoping to see something announced about Snow White! It doesn't make sense to announce these Signature Edition (Belle and Alice too) without some dolls, I really hope that their plan is to make a prince (even though i doubt they'll do it for every release) and a villain for the early LE that didn't get any!
I think her looking similar to Mickey is kind of unavoidable lol. They have the exact same design with Minnie's only real differences being her eye lashes, bow, and dress. I was kind of expecting someone to buy two of the Minnie dolls and customize one of them to look like Mickey because of that exact reason. Really though, the lack of conversation about her is kind of depressing. She is the first doll of the year AND she isn't a princess. Its understandable why though. She isn't insanely impressive nor a major departure from the D23 doll (at least in terms of the mold), and 2015 was such an insane year for collectors that a lot of people need to take a breather and save money for doll releases later on this year.
Oh I totally agree agree. She definitely could have used more makeup or something to make her stand out, and her ears being made out of hair seems like a really odd design choice. She really could have been a much better doll, and her release feels so random. All that said, I still think she is a really cute doll and I figured there would be at least a little more excitement for her. I dunno if I like her enough to buy her myself, but we'll see.
Same for me too. I just have this gut feeling that I am going to want several dolls this year and I need to set some money aside just in case.
