Sorry, I haven't noticed any announcements but I've been a bit "out of the loop" lately. I just saw this on ODPT. But March 15 is a Friday. 5-8 on Friday?? Sunday, yes, but Friday? Hmmmm. Cheshire and Jasmine spinner pins scheduled for release.
 
Usually the DLR PTN is a friday night. However the times are different than before.

Used to be 6pm line up, 7pm to 10pm trade time.

This 5pm to 8pm is horrible. People who work will miss the first hour.
 
I can never make these since they are Friday nights, I work until 4:30 on fridays and with Friday night traffic, it would take me close to 3 hours to get there. WHY cant they do them on Saturday or Sundays?

My theory is that they want the ballroom available to be rented out on weekends, and dont want a gazillion traders in the hallway on a busy weekend.
 
Bumping the time would seem to be a bid to reduce the queue line. People will be able to walk right into the ballroom. I do think they should have just kept the 10:00pm end time though.
 
It might get "corrected" - I recall Sunday PTNs were always 5-8, Fridays 7-10. I'm thinkin' maybe someone just got mixed up.
 
I have never been to one of these and I really wanted to go this one, but that is the opening night of the musical that I am in. :( Hopefully I can go to the next one.
