Do we have UK trading events??

Hi Everyone,

In the US pin trading seems a lot bigger than it is in the UK. Your pin trading events look so much fun, getting to know new people and trade pins.
Does anyone know if we have pin trading events in the UK?

Yes there are various events organised throughout the UK. They range from Southampton to Edinburgh.

Where about are you based as that will help point you in the direction of someone who can help

The next london pin posse is 26th november in Westfield shopping centre starting at the disney store and then moving to a seating area usually a cafe check out facebook london pin posse

There was a big one this year gone called mouse meets, that was a general disney fest but we had a room all to ourselves to trade. That was in March. I dunno where it will be held next year but it was in birmingham this year

Next one I know about is the Manchester Pin Meet thats happening in just under 2 weeks. November 20th. Meeting place is in the Waterstone store in the cafe at the back of th store, inside the Arndale shopping centre at 11.30am - 2.30pm

the only official one was held in Milton Keynes when the sword series was released as an LE200 Shield set and thats it since that came out.

All the ones are organised by collectors/traders.

Southampton? *excited* That's closest for me...London would probably be the farthest I'd go right now...

The Southampton pin meet used to be instore but got quite popular so now we are just outside the store in the mall on some tables. It is usually arranged by one of the Store managers and David who is a pin trader.

Probably usually about 12 ish traders on the tables but other people turn up with their lanyards etc. Its definately worth going!!! and everyone is so nice.

ive got to get to get down to that meet eventually, need to try and time it so one is arranged when Im visiting or we combine the manchester and southampton meets on the same day for one huge group gathering XD

Thanks everyone! I live in Peterborough so I guess London would be my closest. We lost our Disney Store this year, it's now a Schuh << gutted.
