I have a beautiful older Stitch set that I don't love and I'm trying to decide whether to auction or put up for sale. On that note, I have a couple of questions.

First, the set is new in package so the thought of busting it up seems like I'm breaking some kind of rule.

Second, I can't find any completed sets on that auction site so I have no clue how to determine value?

Last, I've had a member contact me about one of the pins in the set and I would love to help them out, but again it would require busting up the set. So, I guess I'm basically asking how to determine value (both dollar wise and trade wise) and would I be nuts to break the set up?

Here's the set:

I wouldn't bust up the set. The Pudge pin (goldfish with the sandwich) tends to be the most wanted, and the rest (except maybe Scrump, the rag doll and Stitch) will not get much interest. However, there should be those who are interested in the whole set.

As to value, I know about 2-3 years ago it went for around $60. I know that because that's what I lost it for, and eventually that's what I won it for. As for present day worth, it's hard to say...
