Do you remember the days when this hobby caused you NO stress at all?
Debi, After seeing your post about moving to PinTalk, I was surprised to see a post from you. Does this mean you are not leaving us after all?

It's certainly heartening to see that people do remember those days. There's no reason why those days can't be in our futures!

Like Laura said, the main joy I've gotten out of pin trading is the friends I've made. No amount of negativity can affect that. :hsd:

Ever since my divorce of Tangled, no stress. Whe I first started collecting, there was no stress either because I was just CM lanyard trading, and mostly open ed trading at the parks. My only stress factor was when I attempted to be a Tangled completist.

This hobby causes me no stress at all. I collect pins that are within my budget, thus no stressing about crazy releases, high end ebay purchases, or crazy bids for a pin on the dpf auction house. We all have more than one favorite movie or character. If everyone collected the pins that were in the budget, they wouldnt be stressed out either.

I love that! It's this kind of thinking that can keep us going and enjoying what collecting is all about =)

I never got into collecting pins before things got crazy (too young to really understand how special these little shiny things can be =>) but I did get into Vinylmations near the beginning and remember how things were a bit slower tho equally as stressful at times. After a while I came to grips with the fact that if it's causing me stress, it's time to take a little breather, power off the computer for a few days, and come back when I'm not feeling stressed anymore.

And, take pictures of my pins and vinyls. It's always more fun when I take the time to appreciate the ones I have for a bit before going back to tirelessly questing after the ones I still want ;D

There are still nice and helpful traders out there! Don't give up hope.

I vow to never give up hope that I will - someday - complete my Alice in Wonderland collection (as soon as Gillian lets me have the blue puzzle piece) I don't really think I"m stressed since I've decided that Alice is all I must complete - the rest would be nice, but I won't die.

If I wouldn't be beaten with remorse and anxiety for giving that pin up, I would totally make sure you had it! I just can't part with such a rare pin.
