I made a trade for some hidden mickey pins and the person wanted some of these pins for them. I agreed and sent him the pins he asked for. Mind you, I am pretty sure I have bought a couple packs of these myself, but I have also traded for some as well. Well he got his pins and is telling me now that some of them he is pretty sure are scrappers. He proceeded to basically let me have it for trading him scrappers when I was asking for authentic Hidden Mickey pins, as if I would do that. Of course he assumed the worst in me and I am now dumbfounded! To my knowledge these pins have never been scrapped so I need your help here. If anyone has any knowledge of them being scrapped please let me know. If they have, what are the tells with these pins. I certainly do not trade scrappers on purpose and don't want to have to go through this again. They were very accusatory towards me and I am a bit upset over it to say the least!

oh!! that set, the little round ones! :)

ok, no warnings on pinpics, however at least one known fake seller on eBay is selling them singley. Pinpics does say on one of them that someone has 2 that look different from eachother even though both came from disney packages.

My advise, ask for images and descriptions of how they feel they are fakes. Tell them you did not know, and would appreciate their input as to what makes them bad. and then return the trade, both sides. You should get your pins back and so should they.

I have done all that already. I just hate the thought of having to put out postage if the pins are not even bad. We live on a very tight budget here and I am allowed only so much for postage at any given time. It just upset me is all. I would never send a bad pin intentionally through the mail because of the value I place on my integrity. This really bothered me!
