Does anyone still trade for "normal" pins?

Does anyone still trade for "normal" pins?
I gladly trade for all kinds of pins. I try to make multiple pin trades which does cut down on the cost of shipping and it is more fun. It can be like Christmas morning when you open an envelope with lots of pins in it. Yes I gladly trade internationally. It is how I am able to get the overseas pins so that is not a deterrent for me. But again I much prefer to do multiple pins.

I'm willing to trade open edition pins, PWP pins and such. The two problems I run into are finding matches, and authenticity concerns.

I trade for any pins that are on my wants list. I rarely trade for other traders (via mail), most of them are for my collection. Sometimes it works out that I do a multi-pin trade because the other person wants another pin of mine and they don't have one I need for my collection, so I try to pick one I think would be a decent trader, and that usually works out pretty good! I am Pinhead57 on Pinpics, btw...

I love trading OE, Boosters, PWP, ect. It's just getting matches to line up. And I'm in the boat with everyone else. It really needs to be a 2 for 2 trade for it to be cost effective.

I have a ton of rack (OE) pins that I don't even have on my traders, as no one seems interested in them any more.

I'm so NOT a gotta have it now, what's hot, hot, hot trader. Most of my grails are 5 years or older...LOL

Same here..I don't have much of a collection, but I'll most likely trade with anyone. If you're looking to trade, just ask. Even if a pin isn't in my traders, as long as its not a Donald/Daisy/Duck pin, I'm likely to trade it for something I'd like.

I trade for any pins that are on my "wants" list regardless of the edition size. I rarely trade through the mail for others unless we are already making a trade, but will do so in person. My "wants" list isn't very large at this time, so it is harder to find matches. I have had many a person tell me that they will only do multi-trades through the mail and I wasn't able to make the trade as there weren't enough pins involved to meet their "quota", but to each their own...

If it's a pin I want, I trade for it. I mean, there are OE's and then there are the OE's that only appeal to a few people and not a lot of people have bought them. If you can't get to WDW every 6 months, sometimes trading an OE is "worth it". I rarely consider postage costs unless the trade is for really common pins and I'm only trading for the sake of trading rather than for something I want.
