Hello DPF Community!
As we continue celebrating our 15th anniversary, we've been hard at work behind the scenes making some exciting changes to improve your forum experience. You may have noticed various updates rolling out throughout last month – these changes have been implemented live without requiring downtime, so the forum has remained accessible while we've been making the listed improvements.This update represents a significant reorganization of some forums aimed at streamlining navigation, consolidating activity into more vibrant spaces, and giving you more control over your marketplace threads.
Below you'll find a complete rundown of all the changes that have been made.

DPF November 2025 Updates & Changelog:
Forum Consolidation
The "News & Announcements" forum has been combined with the "Forum Rules & Guides forum" into the new "DPF Information Center"- This new combined forum will house all sitewide announcements, giveaways, rules, and guidelines.
- New members should start here to learn how the forum works, while all members can stay updated on site news, policy changes, and helpful guides for getting the most out of the community.
- All PIN ID threads have been tagged with the "ID" Prefix, and moved into the main forum.
- Any future Pin Identification requests or threads can be posted in the general Pin discussion forum but must be tagged with the "ID" prefix.
- All ZAPs/RAKs have been tagged appropriately and moved into the main forum.
- Please feel free to continue posting your ZAPs and RAKs in the main forum and tag any future ZAP/RAK thread(s) with these prefixes to help members find the appropriate content, and to encourage more ZAPping and RAKing!
- Members should now post their fantasy pins for sale/trade in the main "Pin Trading" Forum with the "FANTASY" prefix.
- The "Completed Fantasy Pin Sales" archive forum has also been moved under the "Pin Trading" forum. This forum will be maintained by forum moderators. Completed threads older than 1 year will be moved to this archive forum regularly to ensure only relevant items appear in the forum thread listing.
- Members should now post their pin auctions in the main "Pin Trading" Forum with the "AUCTION" prefix.
- The "Completed Trade Auctions" archive forum has also been moved under the "Pin Trading" forum. This forum will be maintained by forum moderators. Completed threads older than 1 year will be moved to this archive forum regularly to ensure only relevant items appear in the forum thread listing.
- Feel free to continue to run Co-Ops and tag any future threads with the "CO-OP" prefix in the now-consolidated "Disney Pins for Sale/Wanted" forum.
- "Completed Co-Ops" archive forum now appears as a subforum to the main Sale/Wanted forum.
- no other changes.
Marketplace Changes
All Marketplace rules have been updated.There are no major changes to the existing rules; only administrative changes that allow users to manage their own sales/trade/game threads.
- Please familiarize yourself with the new rules in the DPF Information Center.
Reworked "SOLD" Prefix in the For Sale marketplace forums to denote sales that have been completed, or items that have been sold.
- Please make use of the
button in your threads to denote when you have found or cancelled your search for an item. This button makes it easier for the moderators as you are able to self-complete your ISO threads. This button automatically locks the thread and changes the prefix to 
without any Admin/Mod intervention. SOLD threads will periodically be moved to the appropriate archive forum(s) by moderators to maintain forum readability and site stability.- Please do not delete completed sales threads, as they will be locked and archived in the appropriate forum. Showing the awesome pins that have been sold within our community is an excellent way to motivate new members to join and buy/sell with us all!
Added new "COMPLETED" Prefix to marketplace forums to denote ISOs or trades that have been found, traded for, or otherwise cancelled.
All previously closed/inactive ISO/Trade threads have had their prefixes changed to the new prefix and moved into the appropriate subforum.
- Please make use of the

Prefix in the Pin Games forum to denote games that are pending (but have not yet started). This will allow editing and interest generation for upcoming pin games while they are being planned.

Other Changes & Housekeeping
- "Dark" Style is now available for desktop – Perfect for late ight DPF browsing!
- Scroll to the bottom of the page, hit to cog ⚙️ icon and select "Style Variation": Choose from "System", which matches your OS's mode, "Light" (Standard DPF style), or "Dark" (Dark Style).
- The Dark theme is still being worked on, so some page elements may appear wonky while they are being tweaked.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page, hit to cog ⚙️ icon and select "Style Variation": Choose from "System", which matches your OS's mode, "Light" (Standard DPF style), or "Dark" (Dark Style).
- Subtle updates to all prefixes with new color schemes & icons.
- "PIN DISPLAY", "PIN HAUL", and "PIN GEAR" prefixes have been changed to simply "DISPLAY", "HAUL", and "GEAR" to reduce visual clutter when browsing thread listings.
- "DPG GAME" Prefix has been changed to "FREE" to denote DPF games that do not involve an entry fee. Traditional Pin Games can still be found in the "Pin Games" subforum.
- General housekeeping & forum cleanup activities.
FAQs
Why did you consolidate forums?In an effort to encourage activity and decrease the amount of low traffic subforums, We decided to merge some of our less active forums into the larger ones.
By consolidating related topics into fewer, more active forums, we can concentrate the activity that is happening across the forum without making some of the smaller forums feel less active or "deserted". As a result, your threads are more likely to get more replies, discussions are livelier, and newer members are more likely to participate and engage with a more quickly moving forum.
We encourage everyone to tag/prefix their general discussion threads appropriately, and to use the Prefix filters available at the top of the forum listing as well as the subforum thread list itself to help them find the content that's interesting to them.
