Does anyone know why the#s on my pins do not match the #s on my backer cards?They were bought @ DSF release.
 
Could someone that bought the 4th of July pins check their pins to see if the #s match on thier pins.Thank you for any help you could provide.It is the # on the pin and the# on the backer card.
 
Hi, I have the Tiana patriotic pin. If this is the set you are asking about... I bought Tiana at the DSSH on July 7, 2017, so directly from the source. My backing card has FAC-030191-055. The pin has FAC-030191-048. If these are the numbers you are asking about... not sure why they are different. The backing card is nothing special (ie, just the usual DSSH backing card), perhaps it is random which pins goes on the generic DSSH backing card and so the numbers do not match? Not sure. Anyone else??
 
Yes those are the pins I am referring too. Someone did not want to trade because they did not match!I looked at the Lion King pins and the backer card # matches the pin#.

It just gets curiouser...
As an observation the Tiana pin numbers are not far off (048 to 055). Could it be the pins from the set were accidentally put on the wrong cards, so the mix up is within the patriotic series set? Since I only have the one pin from the set, I cannot do the analysis of all 4 pins and their cards.
Sorry your trade went wrong.
 
I am going to keep a lookout at the releases to see if 048# backer card shows up on a different pin release.
