First 50 handed out Thursday morning from 7 to 8am, 2nd 50 between 1 and 2pm, last 50 from 7 to 8pm. Posted on their Facebook page
 
Oooh, much better times this go around! I'll have to pass along my thank you's when I get mine. Also, I wonder if they are planning to hand out past 150 since the first 250 can get the Marquee.

Facebook post said only 150 would be distributed. I won't be at this release (out of town til the 22nd) , but I have someone taking care of me.

Aside from having to go up there 2x.... ((annoying))

I think its an effective way to remove the camping issue... It is after all a liability for DSF to allow camp out. This wrist band method will reduce campouts, reduce line cutting, and increase effectiveness of the releases. the removal of campouts will reduce their security cost, reduce risk of being sued for anything that may occur while people camp out. and maybe even reduce the insurance the store is required to have.
 
I thought the last release went rather smoothly. I think the distribution time tweak, for this release, was perfect and allows more people a chance to secure a wristband early and not have to hope for a second chance line.

I'm in favor of the wristbands, as it cuts out on a majority of the shenanigans with line cutting and generally takes a ton of stress out of the whole experience. A really big bunch of kudos should go to the Soda Fountain for taking suggestions and making tweaks to help keep things mostly civil. I know that some don't like the new system, but it seems to be working for a lot of people who simply didn't have the free time to spend waiting in line for hours and hours and watching everyone else to make sure the line cutting was kept to a minimum.
 
It sucks i have tomorrow off, so i could get a wristband. But i have to work Friday morning at 8. All i want is the marquee!!!!!

If the release is this week, I unfortunately will not be able to attend I need 2 Bruce and 2 marquee. If anyone can help me get these, please let me know! Thanks!
 
I get off of work at 6 and have to drive up from San Diego. Pretty much slim to none chance I'll get there in time to get a wrist band, right? Boo. I wish wrist bands could be handed off (CAN THEY BE?!!)
Edit: Also, if ANYONE is able to pick me up an extra Marquee I would LOVE YOU FOREVER. I don't have many traders, but I'll pay double cost plus shipping (I can't post any new threads because I'm new D: So I cannot ask anyone on a WANTED thread).

we have to wear the wristband for a whole day before the release if we get them at 8?
 
I'm wondering if I could get there Friday morning without a wristband and still manage to get anything. After all, there were Beloved Tales left over from the last release.

Same here, I can go Thursday, but have to work at 8am Friday which is a bummer because I really want that Bruce pin. I guess I'll just have to think of all the money I'm saving.
 
The marquee is LE 500, so you should be able to get one & maybe they'll have a new PTD by then.
