This thread is about the Saturday Oct 26th release. Images, questions, who's going, randomness... you name it. I figure why clutter up the forum with 3-5 threads about one release?

Hmmm I wonder why pumpkins are two per person and all the other releases have been one... Hoping to get rid of pins and people faster? Hahaha I've heard a lot of the releases have been starting and ending late.
 
Can someone grab me a Piglet? I can't go but promised the wife I'd find her one. I figure someone local would be just going for Pascal and could grab me Piglet pretty easy. Heck, he might even be available after the release if he doesn't sell out. I think maybe only Pascal sells out this time.
 
These pumpkins are adorable! If I lived in CA, I would try to make it! I love the Figaro and Pascal ones! :lol: Too cute! The are going to have some happy people since they can get two per person now! :D

Le-sigh... still no image of JUST the pumpkin poppers....

I had a change of plans, and CANNOT attend this release as planned. I originally wanted a Pascal for myself for my trade book... However Abu the monkey just seems more my "style" lately.....

If someone can find a way to grab me an Abu, we can do some monkey business. *stahp, get yer mind outa the gutter* i will buy him from you, or trade.

I kind of think they make every decision based upon the previous release. Less than 400 showed up for NBC so this one is 2 per person.

Yeah they probably don't think they will sell well. Or don't want to deal with as many people. Get people gone quicker! LOL
 
This would have been a great time to do a mystery DSF release. Have a little pumpkin cardboard box with 2 random pins in it. Make them different LE sizes. Pascal 500, Figaro 400, Piglet 300, Dumbo 200, Abu 100. Something like that. Then each person can buy 2 boxes and see what they get. That is 375 people if 2 per box and 2 per person.
 
The rumors on the street were that the entire orange portion of the pumpkin was Free-D and the pop-up portion was actually on a spring. There were not a lot of happy people, when that rumor started floating around, as most hate how quickly Free-D gets dirty or simply falls off the pin; let alone the abject hate for a pin element on a spring.

Pascal is probably the only one with a decent shot at selling out. All the rest will likely languish, as these pins are rumored to have two elements that traditionally don't stand the test of time and, therefore, don't sell/trade well.

Needless to say, I'll be there to grab a chance at whatever pins the wife has targeted and to provide coverage for friends who may not have a lucky draw.

Oh NOOOO!!! That would totally ruin the pins IMO! :sad: If this is truth, they might end up with some of these pins for a while!?!
 
I thought they were sliders, not spring pop up....

And yeah. the orange appears to be free D rubber.

Did they not have these in the case for viewing at the NBC release? that woulda be nice.....
 
Maybe 2 per person because it's kinda late to release pumpkin pins so close to Halloween. They should have switched Jessica with pumpkins release date. Good luck everyone-I need Figaro and oh Paula wants Dumbo

Wow! Yes, same here. Thanks for the explanation! I've always used it cuz.....I mean it's what it is. It's funny cuz to me it's kinda one of those words that you think was just made up for it like "blanket" or "google" lol
 
what is the new policy for pins after the "events" are over? obviously anyone could visit DSF from open to close and purchase whatever was available. after the events now what is currently happening with "leftover" pins? are they on display and/or available from El Capitan? if someone, say, were to drive to Hollywood at 4 o'clock Saturday afternoon (or even Sunday or Monday for that matter) for a Piglet and a Figaro pumpkin (assuming not sold out, of course) would they be able to buy them or would there be disappointment? I haven't been up since the closure. (I did call yesterday and talk to someone who appeared to have NO IDEA what I was talking about. She said she'd never been "axed" the question before but I could call this morning and "ax" her manager.)
