I posted this in another thread but it IS something I ant people to think about the next time they want to make a mad rush for no reason. It is catered to the Mulan release but I think it's true for most releases that aren't a NEW movie, a popular movie, or something really amazing.

"THIS ISN'T A BIG RELEASE. It isn't a huge title, and it is a re-release. It will be like all the other ones, no wristbands, Marquees will probably be out by noon or a little after 1 and the lunch hour. the rest will be around a day or until the first night AT LEAST. Same goes for the LatT release.

If there's no wristband it probably means several of these:
-No surprise pin, if there is, it's not Rapunzel, UP, made of gold or it's a higher LE (not 150 but 300)
-The PTD isn't expected to change with the day, or the list of upcoming ones aren't hot
-One of the biggest factors is HOW MANY PEOPLE have pre-ordered tickets to see the movie this weekend. The Ticket sales are low, so the pin sale will be low
-It's not a holiday weekend
-There's nothing special coming out. they just did two of the biggest releases which are both post Pascal and Punzel PTD which were also pretty crazy.


No wristbands? Fine. It'll be a normal day.

I think there's a decent amount of interest in this release (Mulan), but I don't think it's the kind of interest to warrant wrist bands or any kind of camping out... I suspect, if you must have them, show up a little before opening and you will probably be okay. Quite possible you can just meander in around 11 too like mentioned above. It'll sell out I'm pretty sure, but it will be a calm sell out.

Such a relief to hear. My 1st time going to DSF of course had to be last weeks release. camping out 2 days NEVER AGAIN

I think a lot of these releases have been crazy because people start going OH THERES A WRISTBAND gotta go 13 days prior even though it's just for a DSF version of a hidden Mickey :/

Not saying you have to wait around either...but I mean..if you can't show up at 6am..I'm pretty sure you'll still get these.
