Dumb question re. WDW LE releases

I think it depends on the pin and type of release. I remember in 2012, when looking for specific LE pins, I was told at times they were at 1 location in that specific park, i.e. the shop behind Spaceship Earth at Epcot, under the DHS Sorcerer's Hat, etc

Sometimes pins are only released in one location. For example, the Maelstrom Anniversary pin was released at Puffin's Roost in Norway. Also, the Grand Floridian Anniversary pin was released at the GF. And the 13 pins were only released at Pin Traders at Downtown Disney.

But in general, the primary release locations are: Pin Traders (DD), Pin Central (Epcot), Island Mercantile (AK), The Hat (Studios), Frontier Trading Post (MK) and the shop at the Contemporary gets a fair amount of LE releases, but I'm not sure if they get all.

I know that each park has the one store that sells LE pins ...what I'm wondering is whether I can assume that a particular store will have a particular release ...does anyone know how I could find out?

I would say yes, but then Disney always likes to muck things up and sometimes they don't do what you expect. Anniversary pins like what I mentioned before, they've started releasing in a more limited fashion so they may not be at all locations. Also, some locations get more than others, so a location could sell out more quickly than others. Pin Traders, Pin Central, and Trading Post usually get the most.

I've been wondering if the Happy Haunts will be at MK only or if they will be available at DTD. Does anyone know?

It depends al ot on the edition size.
