Hi all. I know it's a fair way off til Christmas, but I wondered if anyone had seen any info on the ear hat ornaments for this year? I read last year that Jasmine (woooohoooo) plus a whole 100 acre wood of characters are being released this year, but I'm wondering (since you guys always seem to know things in advance) who else will be appearing as an ear hat ornament? Any speculation, or particular wants?
Does anyone here collect them?? What ones do you have???

Thanks!

I love this ornament collection! I have not heard anything recently about them: just the same info that you read from last year about who should be included in this year's collection.

The ornaments I currently own are:
-Snow White
-Princess Aurora
-Rapunzel
-Ariel
-Tiana
-Belle
-Cinderella
-Cruella de Vil
-The Queen of Hearts
-Maleficent
-Queen Grimhilde
-Captain Hook

I did pass on Ursula for two reasons: 1) the ornament looked to me as if her face had been swallowed by her bosom, and 2) At the time, I thought it would be nicer to pay tribute to MNSSHP and only get the villain ornaments of characters that you can meet from the Villains Dance Mix & Mingle. Now, I kind of wonder if I shouldn't have just bought Ursula's ornament anyway, especially since they said that they won't be making any more of the non-princess ornaments. Oh well!

I love these ornaments as well. I couldn't resist and bought most of the ones released last year. I heard the same, that more should be coming this year, but haven't really heard anything else. They did release some of the ear hat ornament as pins a few months back, they were really cute too. But I would love to add to my collection. I would love to see the rest of the princesses, including Merida. I would also love maybe some wreck it ralph characters. Who am I kidding, I would love them all! I did see that they were doing a "fashion shoe" line, which looked pretty cute.

Noooooooo. I love the ear hats, I don't want them to stop. It looks weird, I have Queen of hearts but no Alice, and Hook but no Pan, Tiana but no Facilier, Cindy but no Tremaine. I don't like that some villains are included but not others, and no Jasmine! Look, I love those shoes, no doubt I'll get them haha, but I really would love the ear hats to continue. Here's to hoping.

I have over 40 of the ear hat ornaments. So far I'm only missing one black and white one. My tree can't take many more I'm doing my part to keep up and hoping that they don't release so many this year.

The Earhat ornaments got down to like $5 on clearance last year at the Disney store so I don't know if they will have more this year but I really hope they do. We got Pluto last year on our trip and it's so cute.

Disney Parks Princess Shoe Ornaments

I went to Disneyland this past Sunday (May 5), and got six different resin Princess Shoe Ornaments, in the same style as the Princess Ear Hat ornaments from last year. They were also by the same Disney artist, Cody Reynolds. I got them at the China Closet Shop in Main Street , for $22.95 each. They are about 3'' L x 3'' H x 1.5'' W, or 4'' L measured along the inside of the sole. Shown in the photos below are are Snow White, Aurora (Sleeping Beauty), Belle (Beauty and the Beast), Jasmine (Aladdin), Tiana (The Princess and the Frog), and Alice (Alice in Wonderland). These are all the shop had; hopefully they will have more styles in the near future (such as Cinderella and Ariel), as well as the upcoming villain shoes. Also shown are the Princess Shoe Ornaments next to the corresponding Princess Ear Hat Ornament

They are quite lovely, I do like them. I can't find them on the disneystore website though, which is a pity (maybe I'm just blind). I hope they do make more - they seem to be modelled after the pins & there was an Ariel pin, so that's hopefully a good sign =]. Thanks for posting!

The shoes are really cute. Hopefully they eventually sell them on the disneystore website. I hope they still continue to make the ear hat ornaments as well. I did see the Ariel shoe already on the disney parks blog, so I'm sure that one will be out soon.

Does anyone know if the shoe ornaments are Limited Edition like some of the ear hat ornaments were?

You're welcome. No, the shoes are not available online yet. Hopefully soon.

None of the ones I bought were limited edition. Perhaps the villain shoes will be limited edition, as were the villain ear hats.

Just got a reply from one of the disney park blog people, and they said to look for more ear hat ornaments coming this summer, so it looks like they will continue! This makes me happy! Although now I need a lot more money for the shoe and ear hat ornaments!

Disney Parks Princess and Villain Shoe Ornaments - Second Batch

I got six more Disney Parks Shoe Ornaments this past Sunday (May 12, 2013) in Disneyland (Anaheim). Three were Princess shoes and three were Villain shoes. For sure, still more are coming soon. The CM I talked to didn't know if there will be new Ear Hat ornaments released this year. As before, they were purchased at the China Closet Shop in Main Street, and were $22.95 each. Shown are the Evil Queen (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs), Queen of Hearts (Alice in Wonderland), Ursula (The Little Mermaid), Cinderella, Ariel (The Little Mermaid), and Rapunzel (Tangled). I believe that more styles are coming in the new future (especially for villains). The Princess Shoe Ornaments were all done by the Disney artist Cody Reynolds, and the villains by Costa Alavezos, as was the case for the Ear Hat Ornaments that were released last year (some of which are still available online and in Disney Parks). None of these shoe ornaments were limited edition, and are not available online yet. By the way, they all make heavy use of glitter, which sheds even more than on the Ear Hat ornaments. I also bought the Disney Princess Slipper Pin Set at Disneyland, for $29.95. The seven pins in the set are very pretty and well made, and match the Princess Shoe Ornaments in design. It is also available online.

Here are photos of the pin set, the Shoe Ornaments, and one of the matching Princess Shoe and Ear Hat ornaments.

Yeah, these shoe ornaments are definitely becoming must-buys! I can't wait to see a Cruella de Vil shoe ornament! The fuchsia stripes at the back of Rapunzel's shoe is a bit confusing, though.

How in the world is there no Jessica shoe ornament. It would have been awesome. I kind of like the Jack Skellington shoe.

Yeah, I so have to have these shoes! I can't wait until they put them for sale online! I heard there will be more ear hat ornaments this summer also. I love them both! They are both so cute. They also released a set of ear hat pins that matched the ornaments. I believe there were 16 total and sold in sets of 5 as a mystery pack. They were really cute too.

Oh! the Alice shoe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOVE the shoe ornaments! I might have to splurge on those this year.

I think this Christmas I will have to get a second smaller tree just for Disney Princess stuff...I'm sure my husband isn't too thrilled about our normal tree (which has mostly traditional ornaments) slowly becoming saturated with Disney ornaments! LOL
