So I know about lots on Ebays being scrappers etc, however, there are a few sellers selling booster sets etc still in packages and claiming them to be authentic but still they sell in reasonably large quantities either booster sets by themselves or lots of booster sets.

I want to get some traders and have seen these but don't want to get stung by buying a load of scrappers.

I was wondering if people have come across these or bought similar items on Ebay.

Hope this makes sense!

Thanks

I have only bought boosters at a reduced price from sellers with a limited Qty... If it is in the original package, and they are selling them at a very very low cost, perhaps they are CM's having a friend resell to gain a bit of profit? Even in retail, with the best AP its only 20% off if I remember correctly. A person could buy a bunch with their ap discount, and sell them at retail + shipping on ebay for a small profit.

If they are not in original, closed packaging. I would NOT buy them.

Don't forget about how expensive shipping is to the UK from the US (if they are US sellers). Make sure no sellers from China or Hong Kong.

I wanted to add, check the sellers feedback. If they have ANY neutral or negative feedback where someone suggested that they were sold a scrapper or unauthentic pin just be cautious. It's my general rule to avoid buying from sellers like that unless they offer a return/refund and it's a pin that I REALLY want.

I've bought a few of these. As long as they are in original packaging I'm pretty certain they are OK. I've not heard of anyone going to the trouble of counterfeiting the pins AND the packaging AND the price tag. Seems like a lot of trouble. Instead, I think someone is getting these on their Disney employee discount and making a couple of bucks a set.
