It never fails that atleast twice a week I get a PM message asking if I can get Shellie Mae for someone. I always politely decline and explain why...mainly the cost factor to do so.
BUT I am a nice guy and want to help the community here as much as possible.
That is why during my AUGUST visit to Disney SEA I have decided to pickup a Shellie Mae and auction it on DPF in the Auction forum. Im not sure what will be available at that time but will of course post pictures and details come auction time.

WHY am I telling U so far in advance? Well I want everyone who has asked or everyone who wants one to have a fair chance.
So my advice to you if you think you will be interested.....start saving ur pins. Look at my wants....put
aside the Goofys...the Hooks...the pins in my Siggy. Also I will be looking for good trading pins.
Im looking for quality and quantity for this one time auction.
 
Someone I know has just returned from het visit to Hong Kong and Tokyo Disney.
She said that per person (per day?) you can only buy 3 Shellie Mae's?

Because she brought some for other people aswell.

I am just planning on buying one but the info she gave you is a little incomplete...I go regulary so I know. You can purchase 3 per shop per day and there are three shops in Disney SEA with Shellie Mae and one shop with a smaller selection outside the park. Plus the rule is largely unregulated... I mean just put ur purchase in a locker and go in and buy more from different staff. I personally dont understand the craze and have never purchased one but have seen Japanese fans wheeling suitcases full of her and Duffy and outfit changes.
I kind of understand that as the way Disney Sea is set up there are Duffy and Sallie Mae specific photo spots setup.

I thank you very much for this auction, having been one of the two people-per-week who has asked about Shellie May . I have proactively picked up a couple of Goofy pins for you, but I fear it won't be enough, and even then, I'll end up with a bunch of Goofy pins and not even win! aaagh! Well, anyway, I hope you enjoy your visit and maybe you will find with this auction that Shellie Mays are a good source of awesome pins for you!
 

He says he's also looking for pins outside his usual wants, if you have traders or things like PoH pins etc I'd say go for it!

Also anyone that is interested as well, got to be in it to win it :lol: good luck

I NEVER mind people PMing me and asking. I also wish I could get one for everyone. I just felt this was the easiest way to do it and with notice everyone would have a fair shot. Also don't concentrate on just Goofy...I will definitely be looking beyond Goofys.

Getting a Shellie Mae for 50$ was a lucky find. Depending on the version and any outfit she came with that is at or below cost.
 
Jazzy Bunny...just for example I looked on your traders and see 4 pins I would love to have

and beckysaurus you have a ton of great pins that I could use as traders later to get Goofys I want

Also wondering if TDS has a Shelly Mae pouch plush like the Duffy at DLR?
