So i was browsing Ebay and stumbled upon the WDW Do Not Disturb pins...which are on my wanted list. I'm looking at this and the guy claims to have 21 pins and is selling these for $12.99. Something doesn't pass the smell test when PinPics says these sold for $15.95.

Here is a screen shot posting of the the ebay listing

Thoughts? Feedback? Has anyone ever ordered from this guy?

Thanks in advance.

They could have picked them up at one of the 2 outlets near WDW, probably around $5.99 each, so not selling at a loss.

I agree with LuvSimba. I looked it up on e-bay and the pin looks fine from the pictures. They probably got it at a discount store. It is an LE 1500 (not 500 as the listing suggests), but the pin has the correct edition size on the back. It is from 2010 and probably did not sell well. The wants to trades ratio on pinpics suggests this as well. 12 trading with 53 wanting is not bad. But should not be hard by any stretch.

@LuvSimba and @Phoenix...I appreciate your insite. I'm gonna take the jump and see how things turn out.

I know for sure I saw some of those pins at the outlet stores in Orlando several months ago. I expect he probably just bought up and bunch of them and is reselling for a profit.

Thanks. I jumped on a couple of them and if there are no problems...he's got others...at no more than what I would pay at the parks. I'm cool with that. I'll keep you all posted.

If I remember right most of the resorts ended up at the outlets so I wouldn't worry too much- The only issue to check is that the screen printing was sub par and quite a few were missing parts of letters/hotel logos (like it wasnt centered correctly so the tops of the letters were gone)

I loved the 'summer' resort pin collections (LOVED the keys) except for the photo/camera ones- they just made the edition size too high for them to sell out..

I love the keys. I've gotten a few of those and working on getting a few more.

Yeah, those outlet stores get some great deals directly from the parks. If you're visiting Orlando, it's worth renting a car for one day to explore the city (and maybe other parks?) AND hit the Disney outlet stores. I had a car with me on two seperate visits and found some really innexpensive pins. I'm pretty certain the previous threads are correct.

And not to go off topic too much, if you're traveling with small kids, you can get great outlet store items and bring them to the park... enter a store without the kids and exit the store with affordable gifts they'll be super happy to have and they won't know whether you paid $12.99 or $1.99. (But you didn't hear that from me... )
