Can anyone tell me if the Jessica dressed as Queen of Hearts - Pin 66022: DisneyShopping.com - Jumbo Halloween Series has been faked at all? Some one is offering me the pin on a second chance offer at a low price and I'm worried it's a fake. This user has apparently sold a fake in the past and that threw my radar up.

I think about if it's too good to be true it probably is. Any advice would be helpful.
Thanks!

Yes, as well as Jessica as Alice and Jessica as Ursula. There was a warning on pinpics at one time but the warning has been removed. It is known for being fake. If it seems to good to be true then it probably is. There is a known seller on ebay that is selling fakes with cards.

I've seen fakes of many Disney shopping pins from around that time, best to try and trade for pins with cards and packaging.

Please PM me the seller's name. I am 101% sure I already know and those pins have been scrappered.

In fact, we discussed this in detail a while back.

Here are the 2 links:

Check post #16 on this above link.

About a year ago, the seller disneyfanaddicts mentioned used to sell them w/o cards. Those pins and prices are too good and dreamy to be true. They must have been reading our discussions, so lately most of the scrapper sellers started including the cards.

If they can fake the pin, they can fake the card. How hard can it be ;) ?

Thanks everyone for the help! I am totally not buying it as it sounds like this person peddles trash! if anyone wants to know the seller please PM me and I will be happy to let you know.

Thanks to Merryweather for the assistance.

The key on spotting those sellers with fakes is looking at the competed history on Ebay.

Also..as you keep up to date on the fake pins..you will find that bad sellers typically have more than 2 or 3 suspect pins..also being resold in quantity. Cards mean NOTHING anymore..as anyone can photoshop the back sticker from their computer at home. However..it would be useful if people could note on Pinpics whether or not the SKU sticker was indeed on the card; and or the wrapper when received. The older Direct/Shopping pins would sometimes just have the SKU on the bag -thereby giving the bad sellers an excuse why there isn't a label on the card itself.

Correct that Pinpics is removing the warnings for BAD REASONS..in my all so humble opinion.

2nd chance offers do not necessarily mean bad..as I do 2nd chances all the time. Keep in mind, on good pins -most people buy more than one (if possible) when released -so if the price is right; I know I will offer a 2nd as well.

That being said..I do agree if the price seemed a bargain on the 2nd chance (like wayyy under market) then that would raise an an antennae. Gut calls are usually pretty accurate.

I also have come across alot of Jessica pins w/ cards on Evilbay that seemed just to good to be true. I only buy from certain sellers now that I know are selling real pins. My rule of thumb, If the seller has bunch of pins on auction that have a reputation of being scrappers, and then they are trying to sell LE pins, I usually won't buy from them. Whats to say those aren't scrappers too.
