Okay, so my grandparents bought me a bunch of pins for my birthday off of eBay. I already know that some of them are definitely Scrappers, is there a possibility that some of them are genuine? I don't know much about Scrappers because I'm fairly new to pin trading, but I did a lot of research on pin pics and other websites about my pins, and a few of them do seem genuine. Is it possible to get both genuine and scrapper pins from an eBay seller?
Thank you for any help you can provide!
God Bless :)

It is hard to tell without seeing the actual pins. If you can post pictures of the pins you believe to be genuine, we can help you figure out if they are legit or not. If I ever have doubts about a pin being real, I don't trade it away. I either toss it into the trash or just keep it.

I have found that most of the time the sellers that sell the fake pins might throw in one or two real pins so they can claim they didn't know better. Which we all know they are lying about. That is not to say all sellers are selling fake pins. You can usually figure that out by looking at their past auctions. If they have the same thing time after time, good chance they are crooks.

Since you probably don't know who your grandparents bought them from, that doesn't help you much. The easiest way is to post questions about the pins you think are real in the "Pin Comparison" forum here. Usually you will get good info quickly.
