Hi there,

I just made my first pin frame ! I had the Arribas for just over a year now, they are beautiful and feel really precious. I always were scared that something would happen to them (scractches, or other damage) So, basicaly they were completely wrapped up with cloths and bubble wrap for almost a year. why have a set like this without ever being able to take a look at it ? Today that has changed !

I found a shadowbox frame. I was looking for a black one, but white was the only thing they had. No big deal, better white then nothing at all, right? I found some black paper I taped to the back of the frame. then I used a hidden mickey pin to make the holes in the back of the frame, so I have to holes to put the actual pins through. (Just so I don't have to use pressure on the pins to be framed). I put together my frame, and here's my result:

Obviously they are behind glass, so sorry for the glare.

Aren't they pretty ?! It's my set of 5 Villains Arribas pins. all adorned with lots of arribas jewels/rhinestones.

the pins are:
Arribas Old hag;
Arribas Maleficent;
Arribas Captain Hook;
Arribas Cruella;
Arribas Evil Queen;

Thanks for reading !

Here's another pic of my frame. The pins are really sparkly. So bedazzled.

I think the frame is too white though. And the background paper isn't really perfect. I'm so glad it's finally on display, safe behind glass, without being worried anything would happen to them.

Thanks everyone.

Awesome pins!!!
I've been trying to get Cruella forever.
Congrats on having them all :bigthumb:
thanks ! :bigthumb:. they are awesome. I'm really happy with them.
on pinpics they don't look that hard to find (looking at the trade/want ratio) but I can't remember seeing these anywhere. (except the ones I have) I have only seen maleficent on ebay a few times.

Lovely job on the framed display! They are gorgeous pins! I like your idea of using cheaper pins to make the initial holes for the good pins - I never would have thought of that and it makes a lot of sense, so I will have to adopt that idea! I am sad at the lack of good shadowboxes for pins (at least from what I can find). I, too, have been overly protective with my collections and don't want to display them in the open until I get good shadowboxes.

Awesome! They are super shiny. I love jewels and it's such a nice pin set. Congrats and good job!

Oh I just love it when they are on a black background in a frame, but I dont' think I could do the glass I just love to touch mine! THey are so beautiful!!!
