For the last week and a half I have not received or been able to send requests through pinpics. Does anyone know why? Or a solution?

Hi Jason,

I'm in the same boat as you, and posted a thread about it right before Christmas. I'm sorry to hear it's happening to you too, but relieved to know I'm not the only one.

I was going to look for my old thread to update today, but will just reply on yours and say that I sent out a few trade requests as a test on Mon. night. The next morning, I had no email from Pinpics confirming I had sent trades, but they weren't in my "pending trade requests" section either. I haven't heard from anyone, but that could just be because they don't want to make the trade. Frustrating! It seems like trade requests are in the limbo somewhere--sent "out" but not being delivered to people's inboxes.

I have emailed twice to the only address I could find (info@ pinpics, I think) but haven't heard a thing. Is there a better contact email to use?

I think they are still updating stuff..I got my notification this morning I sent requests and 4 t/a came through I accepted one but I have not heard back
 
Thanks, Judy, & I'm glad it's working for you. I wish they would reply to me though because I don't know if my email is totally hosed and they aren't getting my questions. If they replied and said "sorry, it's going to be down for XX days" then I would know and not worry. I really like Pinpics and appreciate all they do. It's just now I have no idea if they are aware or getting feedback from people who aren't able to use the TA.
 
TA requests have been going out correctly each morning. At least one person wasn't getting them because she hadn't updated her e-mail address in Pin Pics, and it's possible that another person might have that same problem.

I've also heard that the TA requests are ending up in Spam folders recently for some reason. I don't know what I can do about that other than hope the Spam filters will work themselves out if enough people indicate that these messages are not Spam.

Judy, thanks again! I saw you posted the question on PinTalk and saw Yenne looked into it and found AT&T had blocked Pinpics for email spamming. She said she put in a request for them to remove the blocks, and it would take 2 days or so. Thanks so much for doing that! I can't post on Pintalk either (stupid email problem) to thank her directly. Hope it will all be working smoothly again soon!
