Okay, what do you do when you agree to a trade, send your address and then the email disappears? I've been having trouble with my Droid recently and I think it might have accidentally been deleted...along with what pin it was, the person's name, and address. For the life of me I don't know how to get in touch with this person now.

I was hoping I could find the person via pending trade requests on PP but that's been cleared because it was a few days ago. Any advice? Not all traders include their email in the package, so if I don't have that do I just wait for an email saying they never got their pin? I feel terrible

Well, if they have all your info and complete their end of the trade, it's no big deal- you'll have their address when the pin arrives to you. Just include a note explaining what happened re; the delay. I don't know about them, but I usually give a week before I even get concerned (real life happens, after all).

If I have an extreme delay, I sometimes include a small gift pin, or upgrade the shipping for them.

Either way, I wouldn't panic- just wait until the pin arrives or they e-mail you to re-confirm the trade.

Or you can always resend the trade request with a note in the comment field.

I see its still on your want list...was the person seen on PP's? maybe if you look ..they might still have it on their trade list and it might spark a memory on who it was..OH and I have to ask..were they overseas..it might nail down the search too on PP's

Oh no, Brittany. I hope you find the trader soon. Check the trading pin's wants list and email the email addresses, fingers crossed or send out another trade request for the trading pin with your trading pin and put in the message line something like 'Sorry I have lost your address" etc

Thats to bad, you should get the address when the pin arrives. I'm sure this person will understand what happened. I would understand completely, things happen all the time and you have no control over it. I'm sure it will all work out in the end.

Wouldn't you still have the email in your regular email system? yahoo, hotmail, etc.? Even though you might be able to view emails on your smartphone, that's not the only place the email is (unless of course, it's sent to your smartphone email address).

Did you agree to send at the same time? Was this individual going to send theirs first? What if he/she is waiting for your pin to arrive before sending theirs out?

Starry - I actually checked my regular account and it's not there either...I know on my phone there is a "delete on mailbox and handheld" and I'm thinking that's what happened.

After spazzing, I was able to find the original string of emails in sent folder, I don't know why I never checked there! I was able to send her an email Of course I now can't find the pin we originally agreed to trade on, so I'm hoping there's something else I can send or I'll send her pin back.

Or maybe you could make a quick trade with someone else for the DVC pin. If you can find someone you really know and trust to trade it, you could just have them mail their pin to your Alice and Dinah person.

Well I just checked to see if I could send any requests out..theres 3 trading,and I nothing that matched that they needed
