I believe the pricing tab is part of the Premium service, as once they got mine fixed this morning, I started to see things in that tab. It is a price/grade comparison, which I believe is kind of empty until people start submitting values, like a grade 9.6-10 has a average value of $X

I think HopeMax mentioned in the other thread about them using a program to gather recorded sales, probably via auction sites.

I've been concerning myself with things like why is there no way to see how many pins I own (the old site tells me 8370), and other basic issues of functionality.

It actually does, but it requires a little math. Each page of pins is 20 per page, so it says I have 30 full pages, plus 1 on pg. 31, so that is 601 pins in my collection
 
yeah, my understanding of the price option has to do with some sort of program they have been running to monitor price averages on places like eBay and such. I believe Tomarts was also involved in that process, but I strongly urge anyone with questions to let the folks at pinpics know. My info is not 100% perfect.
 
Hi Rasputin, I am still able to use the "OLD" pin Pics version....sent out some TA's the old fashioned way....didn't match any of yours, but just wanted you to know TA's still go out the old way too. At least, I hope they do
