Hello,

So my husband and I are going to the event for the first time this year. I filled out the registration and RSP - and received the confirmation for the RSP.

Do we receive tickets to the event or the gift card in the mail? Do they just use our IDs? We haven't received anything other than email confirmations.

From the "Things to know" page on the D23 website:

"Ticketing
Everyone will be issued an event credential that should be shown at all times and is required to enter, leave, and return to the event. If you purchase your D23 EXPO ticket prior the EXPO, your credential will be mailed to you. You do not need to register onsite for the event. Simply present your ticket(s) at the main entrance and pick up a complimentary badge holder in the lobby so you can easily have your ticket(s) visible throughout the EXPO. The barcode on your ticket contains your name and email address so you may choose to present this at participating booths to receive additional information about what they have to offer."
 
You receive your passes, gift cards, and other items during your registration time. For most people, that's Thursday before the event at pre-reg, but it all depends on when you marked that you would be picking up your stuff.

We'll hear the results of the RSP sometime in August, and they'll charge our cards then, as well. Item pick-up will happen when we get our pass and such.

They were asking about the EPCOT September event, not D23. Just so there's no confusion. :)
