What pin (or pins) do you have in your collection that seemed to take you forever to get. Not necessarily because they are low LE or very high priced, just because they are plain hard to find.

Here are some that I have.

Got this one from Ebay but searched for it for a long time.
pin9161th200

Pin 9161 DisneyQuest Blue Spaceship

Got this one on Ebay also from a person in Spain. (Also took forever to find)
pin3629th200

Pin 3629 Yellow Tie Dalmatian

This one had to be the hardest one to find. Only one person trading on Pinpics
so I contacted him and had to find one of his wants to trade him for it. He was
from Japan. Took over 10 years to find.

Pin 13428 Flubber Question Mark

The two that spring to mind were :
pin78672

Tinkerbell Summer 2010 - Finally found someone in Italy who was willing to trade it , it completed my Tink frame nicely having a season in each corner :)
pin75931

Gummi Bears - This was the first pin I wanted that fitted none of my collections . Finally managed to snag it from eBay with a Best Offer .

The current one I'm having trouble finding is this one :

Chernabog Villaintine Heart - The final pin from the set . It will one day be mine :)

I love the idea for this thread!

So one of the pins I tried my hardest to find was the Peter Pan Marquee cast lanyard pin! It was my first ever pin series that I had the goal in completing (I was about 6, mind you) and I just could never find it. Even when I joined the forums here I was trying to find someone who would trade for it (this was before my eBay days) and no one seemed to have it! The grailslayer finally zapped it to me and now it's sitting with all the others. (Until I create a cute little display for them!)

And now I actually have a new, supposedly common, pin which I can't find. The 2014 HM Birds series completer: The Splash Mountain Vulture

I was able to find trades for all the others in the series (except the ducks, since they came out after I had to put all my pins in storage,) except for this guy! I'm very concerned about the scrapper problem with HM's, so at this point I don't even know if when I do get him, he'll be real.

These two:

pin6077

The medallion was difficult to find. I wasn't sure I'd be able to find one, but finally did. No one seems to know much about the Gurgi pin. The edition size and origin seem to be unknown, although I remember someone posting a comment somewhere that they bought it at Disneyland but there is no copyright on it.

It took me 10 years to find this pin. I finally picked it up on ebay for a great price, but it was so hard to find this one.

I like that everyone has specific pins for specific collections. They may not be things that a lot of people collect, but they can still be hard to find.

This one! I was beginning to doubt that it really even existed. :) Then last year one showed up on the 'bay. I was outbid, at the last second. Then, thank my lucky stars, another one showed up and I won it! (I found out later that I was in a bidding war with an awesome DPF member who was thinking of me!) One more showed up after that but I didn't need to bid because I had mine in hand. I haven't seen another one since but it's okay because I have mine and I adore it!

Mine is this Halloween Skeleton! I have a Mickey Mouse pin identical to it except for the poses.I found out about this particular pin sometime in 2013 I think or 2014 when I first learned about Disney Pins and pin trading as a hobby. I just happened to find pinpics and was searching the site trying to figure out what I wanted to collect instead of collecting anything and everything. I have never come across it for sale or by trade other than the two people trading it on pinpics. I recieved the pin this December thanks to dpf member Raikipins!

I also snagged that set on eBay a few years ago. The seller shoved the box into a thin envelope and mailed it.. The box arrived in rough shape and the bottom of the box was filthy, but the pins were perfect so I got lucky there.

Four tron pins from a set of 7 (listed below) - I did buy the whole set on ebay but the three not shown and the box were water damaged. Seller said they had been in the basement a while (but was great about working to come to an agreeable resolution.)

These have to be the least available pins I have.
