I see that WDI was supposed to have released dwarf mine cars pins yesterday. Has anybody seen them yet?

Wow, very nice looking set ... seems a bit odd that they only used mine cars but then again, that is how it is in the movie and on the ride. Really nice artwork on the jumbo pin and the collector box!

Neat set indeed. but it is odd cause it's over in florida... oh well not the first time

Most of the design team for the SD mine train ride was based at the WDI Glendale campus. It fits that MoG should be able to design and release pins, using characters and themes for attractions, designed by the Glendale-based Imagineers. There was also a hour-long panel presentation about the new ride, D23 Expo style, and a lithograph / pin signing by the ride design team, as part of the D23 Saturday at WDI.
