Has anyone done a meet the pin artist event at Disney World?

Hey everyone! I noticed that there is going to be a Meet the Artist event at Downtown Disney when I am at the parks next month (on October 12). Has anyone attended one of these? I'm not sure if I want to take time away from the parks just to get a pin or two signed. Do they do anything else at these? Are they fun? Any comments are appreciated.

BTW -- I have never met anyone on these forums. If anyone is going to be around the parks from the 8th to the 13th and wants to say hi, let me know, I'd love to put some faces to names. :wiggle:

I have been to these for the PODM pins. I have enjoyed them so far.
Basically, if its an artist that designs pins you collect its worth it since they will sign all the pins you bring them. Time permitting.
At least this is what Adrianne Draude has done.
I am planning on bringing all the PODMs in my collection and my attraction posters for her to sign next week.
The lines are long for the PODMs but again, it has to do with how popular the artists pins are too.
Besides signing them there is nothing else though.
