Hi everybody,

I'm a total noob when talking about pins. Nobody trades here in Italy and my board is almost empty (35 between OE DLP pins, 1 japanese cheshire cat and, something from Ebay and soon some pins I'm trading here on DPF). I'm ready to go in DLP and I have 20-25 traders ready to target all CM Pascal / OE Rapunzel / Stitch as Yoda I can spot on lanyards :hsd:.

But I made this thread because I'm focusing on my empty board and I have a question: Which are the best unexpensive pins? I'm talking about rack sets and single OE Pins (from USA - DLP) or some "not so limited edition" series/set nicely designed but not heavy on the wallet.

I'll make an example or two:
I needed pins to trade in DLP with CM. I didn't want to buy crappy inexpensive HSM / JONAS pins that will stay on CM lanyards for ages so I decided to buy Cute Animals and Cute Characters (please consider that in Europe those are not common pins). I bought 14 pins for around 28$ sealed on themed card and I'm keeping almost half of them: Cute Donald, Stitch and Pluto from characters and Cute Cheshire, Dumbo, Jiminy, Abu from Animals. I know those are pin in clearance in wdw but that's what I call nice pins for little money.
A lovely set you can find in WDW is also mini villains (around 2,5$ per pin on ebay), I also like WDW Peter Pan booster set (around 4$ per pin on ebay)
Or from DLP ... the star wars booster pack (it costs around 6$ per pin)

I'm open to suggestions about OE / booster sets from you guys

I have no idea about some great and inexpensive LE so let me know which are your best pins for 10$ (or less) or series for no more than 10$ per pin?
This IS NOT a wanted thread, it's a "help a newbie find his way between a 100,000 pins" kind of thread.

I can't help with your question, sorry :(
But you can buy LE pins in Disneyland Paris, they are mostly behind the counters.
You have the Photoshop there are the LE pins shown in a large glass display in the middle of the counters and if you want one you ask the CM
In Emporium the pins are all on a wall and there is a little glas kabinet with the LE pins shown :)

Well, thanks a lot but I've never seen good LE on sale in paris. You can find the usual seasonal LE pins but most of them are not that interesting (well, the 2012 halloween is nice) and no more. The good ones are sold out during Pin Events. Well, that's what I suppose it usually happens because I've never found a great LE during my visits :(
 
I recently bought my first LE from ebay (waiting for delivery, seller should be ok: no lots, picture of pins, no bad feedback, not always the same pins, ok return policy), they were roughly 20$ incl. shipping they fall under the "very nice filler / traders / keepers for cheap" category :) I'm looking for more of these

please post some of your preferred pins with more people who "trades" them than "wants" them on pinpics :) those should be cheap :)

or high LE (600 or more) with very few "wants"

Your English is very good! :) You're right about the LE pins in Paris :( Most of them are gone after a event or PTN.
About Open Edition pins I think you will have a very good trader with the Handbag pin from last month (Rapunzel, Belle, Little Mermaid) and the other Princess pins. You can also have a look on here to buy some pins, some have really great prices! You can also PM me with something you may like from my traders and I can look to sell them, just an idea :)
