I have someone from PinPics that wants to do a trade with me for her UK Gondola Tangled Pin but the thing is she is asking for 4 of my pins for her 1 pin....I feel so uncomfortable with the trade at the same time I want this pin so badly!! Also I feel she is being a bit unfair...what do you think? Any input? Advice? What would you do if you were in my shoes?? Honsetly

Person is asking for...

OR
pin31283th72

FOR HER
pin88583th72

Maybe email her and discuss a deal that is fair for both of you. If its a pin you really want, see if something can be worked out. you never know ;)

4 for 1 depends on the pins. the gondola is highly sought, but not worth 4 decent LEs.... I also generally limit my trade willingness to 3 pins. There are exceptions of course.

what 4 pins does she want?

Broken down into value:

First of your pins go for $20, $25, $30+, and $25= $100+
Her/his pin holds strong at around $50

Seems a *little* skewered to me, even if her/his pin is the most *popular* of the pins involved. I'd offer her/him $50 in trade value, plus a kicker to get her/him to loosen her grip on it. But that's just me...

I think you've already answered your own question. One of the first pieces of advice I always give new traders is never make a trade unless you are 100% comfortable and happy with it - and you clearly are uncomfortable and unhappy with this proposed trade.

No matter how much I want a pin (or pins), I wouldn't make a trade that I'm unhappy and uncomfortable with. I would first try to adjust the trade so that I was happy and comfortable with it. If that didn't work, I would wait and find a trade for the pin or pins in question that does work. I believe that patience is essential to pin trading and that if you are meant to have a pin, it'll find its way to your pin bag eventually (either through the right trade or sale).

Good luck and I hope you're able to trade for your pin. :)
