Ok, someone in my city is selling The last 5 designer princess that came out for 350 all together. This includes tiana rapunzel pocahantas jasmine and aurora. I've never even thought about purchasing these dolls because they cost so much second hand therefore I have no idea what these dolls are worth right now, is this a good deal?
 
I know I could research this myself but I this is a Craigslist deal so it may go fast and I know this is the best place to get immediate disney related answers! Thanks I'm advance
 
That's a great deal for the dolls as it is at $70 a doll and for Rapunzel on eBay you wold be looking at $100-120 and Aurora would be around the $200 mark so that in itself is already what you are paying for the last 5.

just make sure its a legit listing and that they have COAs etc. because it sounds too good to be true.
 
Yep. That's a great deal. I'd get them. I guarantee many people on the forum are checking every city to find the listing now
 
Well coa are there, dolls unopened but boxes are in " good shape"..... Still the dolls are perfect so I will be going tommorow to see them and hopefully purchase, woohoo, really happy, I never get this lucky!
 
Yes I buy and sell on ebay ALL the time , usually only when I really need the money. ( college student problems)

Unfortunately I think the doll that you are referring to on eBay has already sold. Looks like it sold for a pretty reasonable amount too.

im surprised at how much Alice has increased in price compared to 6 months ago, so much so that she has surpassed Snow as the most expensive LE doll.

Good luck with trying to find her though as she is an awesome doll!

Yeah I sold her already and she shipped out yesterday, I really didn't want to sell her , since she was a holy grail, but is needed the money for school, but I'm not too upset cause I know I can repurchase her again when I do get extra funds probably for nowhere near the amount I sold her for, a lot of people just put ridiculous bin prices on her for some reason , most people will in all actuality pay up to 900 for Alice not 1500, but I assume those people have her for profit, not because she was once part of their personal collection and want someone else to " love" her
 


I agree with you, there are some sellers who list the dolls around the $1000 mark (including the lower valued Tiana, Rapunzel, Cinderella and Belle which I think is a joke). It's interesting that you mentioned that people will pay up to $900 for Alice, because I would never have paid that much for her but that just shows that her value has increased. I guess I was lucky I managed to nab both Alice and the QoH as the seller was selling both as a set. I originally just wanted to buy Alice but now I am glad that I of both.

Anyway getting back to the thread topic, are you going to get the designer dolls listed n Craigslist as that really is a great deal. I wish we had a secondary market here in Aus by ver few people know about these awesome dolls!

Yea im meeting up with the person today at noon, so I'll update on what happens after that and if all goes well I'll post pics! I'm excited but nervous, since like you said, it could be too good to be true....what if the cases are completely in shambles?
 
Good luck. Each of these dolls retailed for $59.50 + tax (depending on your city, it could have been up to 10%) so yes, $350 for five dolls is a steal!

Omg guys, I got my dolls! And actually they are in fantastic condition! I am so excited and I can't wait to post pics later too bad Ariel didn't make it in this bunch
 
Talk about a steal!

I would be happy with even just getting two for that price!

Though for now, I'll settle with finding an Aurora
