This is a pin my husband has, it's an older pin, and I have no idea where he got it; it seems authentic upon my close inspection. The pin I have is ONLY the Mickey part of this pin, my pin looks EXACTLY like the Mickey on this pin (exact colors, etc.), but without the rest of it: http://pinpics.com/cgi-bin/pin.cgi?pin=21797&sid=8154.1329440223.v2

On the gold back of the pin, it has the castle logo that says "20 years," and under that it says "Tokyo Disneyland" with the R in the little circle, and under that, the little copyright circle with "Disney," and under that, "DISNEY." The pin back has two posts, one at the top where Mickey's head is, and the other below, behind Mickey's back footstep.

It's not listed in the 20th anniversary section as the pin is to the link I posted.

Anyone, anyone?

Pin 26806: Converted - Patriotic Mickey (Japan)

Hi Hannette
I found it..its converted from
This pin features a Patriotic Mickey walking while carrying a cane and tipping his hat. He is dressed as Uncle Sam in his red, white and blue (stars & stripes) outfit. The pin is attached to a dangle that has a jewel and the number 5 representing TDL's 5th anniversary.

This pin along with #41079, #41305 are converted from a set of 5 Mickey zipper pulls sold in Tokyo Disneyland for the 20th anniversary of the park.

Judy, that is definitely it! I have the pin here on the table beside me, and after I brought up the picture on Pinpics, I looked at the top of my pin--sure enough, you can see a little grayish area on Mickey's topmost ear, and it's a little rough, nothing I noticed (or would think to look for) when trying to figure out where the pin was listed. Great detective work, thank you very much! I have another pin I'm trying to find, but I'll post that separately...
