Hello all! So recently I had the amazing chance to go and meet a Disney VP, and they gave out pins. I was lucky enough to get one in its original wrap, which is this pin:

Pin 62892 WDW - Facilities ''and'' Operations Services - Cast Pin

I saw it and was like, "okay woo great! Pin! Probably cast exclusive, so there's thousands out there for the program, especially if she was just giving them out", but then I read this bit on pin pics:

"This pin is the first generation pin. The first 100 or so that were ordered have the word "and" instead of "&" between Facilities Operations. When the first pins arrived, leadership didn't like the "and" so it was changed. This is a very hard pin to get because only a handfull were handed out."

Does this mean that pin I have is an LE100 or so then? Or is the value diminished because it is unknown how many there are floating around. Is it even valuable at all? (As of now I plan to keep it but I mean you never know.)

Here is the picture of my pin:

Thank you for taking the time to read this!

hard to say. problem is that it will appeal to a very specific "market." 4/35 on (old) Pinpics isn't bad. really just a "roll of the dice." good luck!! :x:

Very true. But hey, for someone who collects park operations or cast exclusives, this might be gold.
Thanks for the well wishes!

I have been trying to get the last few staff pins for the Grand California hotel. I assume those were much rarer than this one. The GCH pins were given to staff working the first day it opened, like the finance team, main entrance and the catering team. Those pins are fluxuate from $35 to $100 with most settling around $60 to $75. But in the almost 4 years I've been searching for those pins I've seen maybe 1 or 3 on eBay. and 1 at MyD Pins. If those are lets say avg. $55, then the one you have I'd try to venture a guess at $20 to $35 tops. "First 100" doesn't equate to "A handful." A handful is maybe 10-15 pins. The GCH pins were truly a "handful." They were a retail pin with a special dangle added on so they didn't have to make a bunch of extras.

Thank you so much! This really helps. Good luck in your search for your remaining pins!
