Hi everyone! I'm sure most people don't remember me and there have been a ton of new members since I was last on the board. *waves* Personal issues required me to take time away from pins for a while but I'm easing back into the hobby, with a new pin that I'd like a little help confirming authenticity, if possible.
I just acquired [pinpics]76554[/pinpics] from a non-Ebay auction and it arrived today. It looks to be in really good shape but there are some things I'm concerned about. First, the thickness of this pin is way thicker than any other pin I have in my collection. It's heavy, maybe 3/3.5mm in thickness. The colors seem good and there aren't any weird missed fill ins or anything, so the paint looks authentic to me. The Pinpics listing doesn't have any information about the back of the pin, though, and that's where I think I could use the most help. On the bottom right on the back there's a box that says:
6 of 7
LIMITED EDITION OF 2000
(C)DISNEY
MADE IN CHINA
The listing does say this pin is an LE of 2000 but I don't understand the 6 of 7 line. I've never owned a pin from a framed set before, are they numbered like that?
Any help at all would be appreciated.
