I just want to preface this by saying that I am new, and have only seen one or two fakes. I'm having trouble identifying this Lady pin to see if it is in fact real. I cannot in good conscious trade this pin without confirming the validity of it. I'm almost sure it is, but better safe than sorry. The back logo seems to be stamped in, the text is difficult to read as it is kinda smudgy, and the honey combs on the last few rows are kind of disfigured.

The pin in question is 6664

Thanks in advance! :salute:

This is the new character release of Lady from Disney's Lady and the Tramp. This pin was also previewed on cast member lanyards as part of the second pre-release series.

Pin measures 1 & 1/4 by 1 & 3/8 inches in size.
Says on the back:
Official Pin Trading 2001
(C) Disney
China
2002 versions also have a rectangle below the post with:
Lady
Lady and the Tramp
(c) Disney
China

Heres what Pinpics says about it

Thats what I read too, and even with that I'm still a little cautious. It looks fine when it comes to coloring, but the mishapen honeycombs on either side and the stamped in logo is what has me about 80% sure it's either fake, or as the others in the chat have put it, a scrapper.

it always best to have a few ppl see the pin and touch it. but from what we could see and talking to u.. it seems like mayb its a fake... 4 me its the not even shape on back lines and also that the disney stamp is real rased up.. that was a big hint when i got my fake jack candy corn from a sharky shark..lol... I hope its not a bad pin but can not say 100%... good luck with ur sets
KT

update: I got the real jack....so fake is 4 learning now... thank u for the pin chum....u are the best
