Trying to figure out if I have been conned by a long time trader or if something has happened to him! I made a trade at the end of Nov with him, his pin still hasn't arrived and he won't return any of my emails. It was a very hard to get pin so any help would be appreciated.

UPDATE: Warning, bad trader,
So after a very brief email reply from him acknowledging that he hadn't mailed my pin yet (after a month), and that he had received my pin in good condition, I have yet to hear back! I am also without the agreed upon pin. I've written him several times, no more replies. What still bugs me more, is it appears he's continued to keep on trading since pins from his wants list have since changed! I know he has trying to get a pin from Deb and Greg (hope they've faired better!). So basically, a long time trader has taken advantage of his feedback and stolen from me! I've really become disenchanted with the whole trading process, so if you've sent me a trade this past month and I've not replied or denied your offer, please forgive me. I traded pin #86796, in hopes if getting the Gus version of this pin in return, so if anyone gets offered this pin from this trader, remind him what a jerk he is!

When is the last time you heard from him? If he has a lot of references that date back a long time, then he's probably either gotten busy with the holidays, or something personal may have happened.

Never traded with him. But, I just put in a pin trade request to him so let's see if he responds to me!

Was the trade through dpf?,if so a mod here could help possibly,if through pinpics you will have to get ahold of someone on pintalk or pinpics,as the mods here cannot disbute pinpics trades

He is not one to welch on a deal in my experience. I have not spoken with him in quite a while but there is most likely a good reason.
hope he is okay

I received a reply from him this morning from my request that I sent thue pin pics. Although he declined my offer, he did reply. However, the response did not come from someone named ____ it came from someone by the name of _____

That is him Spiffie...I just got a reply back stating he received my pin, so after a month I've had contact with him. I figured he's been trading long enough that something must have come up as opposed to being played for a fool. Now we just have to figure out where the pin is he sent. So at this point contact has been re-established.

I understand that you are upset, but it isn't appropriate to call out traders on the forums if you believe you have been scammed. If the trade happened here, please contact the DPF Staff and let us help. If the trade happened through Pin Pics, please contact the Pin Pics moderation team and let them help. If they are unable or unwilling to help you, there always is the recourse of leaving this person the appropriate feedback (through Pin Pics), which you should do anyway, and filing mail fraud charges.

It is going through pinpics. I guess we'll see if they get any further than I. Frankly, if it was a new or low feedback individual, I'd be blaming myself. Despite my disappointment, thanks Dancecats.
