Hi everyone,

I've been checking with ODPT and Disney Blog to see if they're listing the Wave A pins for this year, but nothing so far. Has anyone seen any new ones at either DLR or WDW yet? Just wondering....I know they are pretty lax about releasing them at the beginning of the "wave," but now that January is almost over (!), I thought maybe they'd be releasing them now?

I think I heard somewhere wave A doesn't start showing up until after January in the parks. I was just there. I wouldn't know what to look for since I don't know what wave A should have, but I didn't see anything that looked like a "new" series.

I haven't heard of any new ones being previewed yet. Sometimes they show up on the disneyparks blog as well but I haven't seen them there yet either. Though i seem to recall that they usually trickle into the parks around February but i could be wrong...

None were previewed at the September event. However, recently on the parks blog Steven Miller said he'd seen artwork for new hidden mickeys and would post when he had more information on them. If they are still only in the concept art phase there may not be two waves of them this year. Guess we'll just have to wait and see. It's still seems pretty rare at DLR to find any of the last wave of hm pins.

I think I remember reading somewhere, maybe here on a different thread, that it was theorized that maybe the artwork for the HMs haven't been posted in an effort to try to preempt counterfeiters. Just a theory, though.

In WDW this January, 95% of CM pins were 2011 or earlier, most of them scrapped. It was pretty difficult to find pins from newer HM series', although I wasn't looking all that hard.
