I am finally going to Disney world this year! My uncle and I love collecting the hidden mickeys, however neither of us have heard of a release date. We are leaving this Wednesday and we were wondering if anybody had any information on the release? Any info will be greatly appreciated! Also, if there are any pins that you would like to have a second eye out for, put it here and I will let you know if I find it!:lol:

Awww slightly envious of your trip! I love WDW so much.

A tip for finding HM pins: at the Fort Wilderness Cabins & Campsites you'll find a very big trading board in the Trading Post that opens every night. I think it's at 6PM but you might have to double check, it's been since May that we went There are hundreds of pins to choose from! You can trade two pins.

None of the pins have shown up on eBay, so...

I'll be in WDW myself in two weeks! Really hoping for word on the HM "late fall" release before then.

I remember hearing or reading somewhere that the pins would be released mid-fall so I am hoping I am right on time. Thanks
 
I just thought of two more questions:lol: I know that there us Goody's sky school where people meet up to trade pins. Is there anything like that at Disney world, and what days are the best. My second question pertains to the pin trading event on the 15th. Is anybody going to the pin trading event at holiday inn? Thanks for all the info
 

Our very first encounter with pin traders ever was at Epcot! In the afternoon there were always some people gathering at this shop called "Pin Station" that sells only pins, it has a few tables in front of it where you can put your pin books so it's easy to browse through. That's where we realised how big of a thing pin trading was (we were only trading with CM's at that point) and got totally hooked after browsing through some pin books and meeting some very friendly traders. :wiggle:

I don't really collect them, I do have the Simba one (because he's cute) but that's about it. Thank you for telling me though! :3

Its good! I've gotten some great pins. My favorite being figment cooking. It combines two of my favorite things, figment and cooking. They have yet to release the hidden mickeys

I was just at the pin traders in Disney springs and Rickie working at the counter told me to expect the pins in November.

Questions for you pin collectors! I am trying to get into it as I have a few pins but I am having a bit of trouble getting the gist of things. I have never been to a trading event as I live too far but I will be going to Disney World during the Food and Wine Festival. Are there any pin trading event between November 2 and November 7? Also if you guys can post a pic of what HM pins look like I could look for them and maybe pick some up for you guys? I know I do not exactly have a reputation as an established pin trader but got to start somewhere Oh and I am doing a rundisney event would there be something I should be on the look out for?
 
I just got back from Disney world. It was a fantastic trip. I got about 50 pins and discovered something else. I discovered they have transportation and WILD ABOUT SAFETY CARDS!!!!! My mom preached these to me since I was super young. I have about 13 Wild About Safety cards and I discovered that there are 10th-anniversary cards. Does anybody have a picture of the entire set? I also found out they HAVE PINS of the set!! Does anybody have a pic of those pins? Does anybody have them to trade? As for the transportation cards, I have some extras, so if anybody has extra transportation cards, I am looking to trade. I saw the 45th anniversary pins and absolutely loved them! I am sad I missed out on Merlin's auction If anybody has extras to trade, I would love to do something:lol: This trip was probably the most fun I ever had! Thanks all!

Bvb53...I do have several of the wild about safety pins for trade. I do not have anything listed on Pinpics because I am kind of reentering the trading world. Please send me a list of the wild about safety pins you are looking for and let me know if you have traders listed somewhere. Would love to do some trading here. Thanks
