So talked a seller down on the price of a grail pin, begrudgingly paid instead of traded but it's now with all the other Eeyore's in my book. Onto the next, updated my signature to reflect the current hunt.

So I ask a Question. Is it cheating to buy your holy grail when this is pin trading?

No, especially when some people trading want the gold key to the castle . Such as my Beast to Prince pin DA 100 pin, $75.00 was a steal and Yes its real . I asked about a much easier LE 100 pin and was told $300.00 . Watch Me !!!

How did we all get pins in the first place? WE BOUGHT THEM
And Why do we buy doubles or sets with pins we dont want? TO TRADE THEM
So It's not really cheating (Unless you really think about, then were the ones being cheated.)
It's a fun hobby. And if you can find the pin your looking for at a decent price, then but all means make the purchase. I see one of mine on ebay for 12.99 and all I need to do is wait one more day :D

Yeah I know, we buy pins to trade, I really wanted to trade for this one, but after 6 years and never seeing it in person to attempt to trade. I picked it up at a really good price.

In all, I think I've probably purchased over 90% of the pins in my collection. Pinpics is a great resource, but even so I have had terrible experience in first of all getting a response to a trade request, and then finally working out the trade and getting both sides to agree.

So, I have spent most of my time buying them instead of trying to trade. So, don't feel bad at all. We all do it (almost)!!
