Arrived home to a wonderful package of unique Tokyo Disney Resort items from @hopemax. Picture to follow.

The artwork used on the hotel amenities has such a nice old time feel to it. How fun to walk into your hotel room and be greeted by all of those items.

Looking forward to planning my own trip to TDR someday!

Thank you for thinking of me and taking the time to share a bit of your journey to a far away place. Always so thoughtful!1000006826.jpg

Question: do they have copper coins to smash in Tokyo? Or is this a bring your US coin to smash?
The machines are loaded with copper blanks. So they actually call them "souvenir medallions" vs a pressed coin. It's ¥100 per coin, so you end up going through a ton of those. The Penny Arcade and a few places with the gatcha machines (like your Mickey in the ball) have machines that will exchange ¥1000 yen bills for 10 coins to feed the machines. In my trip report photos, you might have seen my Gelatoni purse. That just held my supplies for collecting the medallions (coins, and little baggies to store them in).
