When PinPics has a pin but does not list an artist proof or proto type for that pin, how can you find out if such pins exist? I'm watching a couple on evilbay but they are the Artist Proof version and these pins are not listed on PinPics ... so before I consider buying the pin I was hoping I could find out if its real or a counterfeit/scrapper??? The pins in question are from the Disney Auction days. Thank you!!

More times than not, a pin will not have an AP version on PinPics until someone actually owns it and adds it to PinPics themselves. I would look at the seller feedback and make a judgement.
