How is a pin an Online Exclusive AND Disney Parks Authenic pin?

You know, I was wondering the same thing! I have a feeling someone made a mistake somewhere, just like that St. Patty's pin that was like 3x the theme park price online.

Maybe it's like some of the old DisneyPins.com pins. Like these:

They were designed to promote Disneyland, but only available online. Maybe these were intended for the park, but then someone made a later decision to sell them online only.

Maybe it like my work. I'm responsible for my division so if a pallet of product is missing I am responsible but overall the Company does not care because it's in "The Company" somewhere and will be found.

Like Disney, it's a Disney pin and it's for sale. Profit shows no boundaries.

I know this pin was always designed to be an online release but when it says "Created especially for Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort AND Exclusive to DisneyStore.com"

Makes it sound like the pin was designed for the parks and then banished to DS.com.

With the confusion, they should've added that it's a part of a Park Set. But I'm actually liking this set so I'm going to put it on my wants.
